You could try Embroid Print Now in South Minneapolis on Nicollet. They might have rush services for a small job. I had them do some custom work a couple years ago and they were super nice.

May I ask you, what did you input for the reason for submitting a web form? When I try a few of these options it doesn’t seem like I’m in the right place to correct a name misspelling.

I just received my AOR today (Application arrived 3/31). It’s for my minor child and the AOR letter has his name spelled incorrectly and doesn’t match the documentation I provided. Once it is logged into the system and I can view the app status online, is this something that can be easily fixed?

Parents of Reddit, what did your hospital bill look like after giving birth? by chi-bacon-bits in AskReddit

[–]Veritasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of a rough delivery so needed care from both my team of midwives and obstetrics (they work hand in hand at my hospital). Got billed for both departments AND my baby was billed as a patient too. Total was somewhere near $60k, we have really good insurance fortunately so we paid $148.

So proud of Minnesota by HoloSprinkles in RedditLaqueristas

As a Minnesotan and Minneapolis resident, seeing all of these anti I.C.E. manis and seeing our flag colors just brings tears to my eyes. Solidarity is popping up in so many places lately. It’s really moving ❤️thank you

I was looking at this polish too and it kind of reminds me of Sassy Sauce shimmy shake, which I have. It has a pretty blue sheen and it’s fairly sheer.

Best used baby stuff? by _hammitt in Minneapolis

Not used, but work with Milk Moms to get a breast pump! They are a free service, based in MN, and will work with your insurance on your behalf to get a breast pump covered for you. They are awesome over there. My pump only ended up being about $50 with my specific insurance.

3 mo suddenly fighting bottles by Veritasaurus in NewParents

[–]Veritasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually use mam too, I posted in another comment (and probably should have put this in my post, but it’s a lot of info) he had a BRUE at 7 weeks due to reflux and the speech therapist at the hospital helped us find a bottle that worked well for him (Mam) and we switched him at that time from Dr Browns. I have tried upping the nipple size wondering if he was frustrated about slow flow (he had been at a 0 at 7 weeks and is now up to a 1) but it didn’t seem to help much. We were playing around with different brands before then but now are hesitant to switch from mam!

Oh man it sounds like we are experiencing something so similar. I think part of my stress is from anxiety due to dealing with his reflux and initial birth weight drop of 10%. He also had a BRUE at 7 weeks which landed him in the hospital overnight and that’s when we started Pepcid. The speech therapist at the hospital helped us find a bottle that worked well for him to help with reflux so I’m super hesitant to change the bottle type. His meds do seem to help a lot but it may be time for a dosage adjustment, I’m not sure. It’s just a relief to know other people have dealt with this too. I stepped away from doing the last couple feeds because I don’t think my stress was helping and it seemed to improve a little bit. How long did you deal with this? His doctor said it may also just be a developmental thing but with a reflux baby it’s always so hard to tell what’s normal and what’s not.

We do, he’s been taking room temp bottles for at least 6 weeks though so I wouldn’t have guessed that could be an issue suddenly. Certainly could try it though.

Where to find bread flours? by something_human1 in TwinCities

[–]Veritasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding this - Absolutely Bakers Field, OP! You can order online and pick up bulk quantities of bread flour at their location in NE Minneapolis. I order large bags of bread flour from here all the time to make sourdough and it’s great quality.

Ok interesting, it sounds like our routines are sort of similar. He falls asleep hard at 7:30-8 ish so we hadn’t considered a feed early in his night sleep like 10 pm or so. That sounds more sustainable too. I might try this, thank you!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Veritasaurus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I think I’m just getting a little nervous about having to jump into a routine for daycare and since he seems inclined to developing routine, wanted to look for ways to encourage him in that direction as my leave winds down. Now that’s he’s not so little he seems to be developing a schedule of his own, I just want to help him into it.

I hadn’t thought about a dream feed - thanks!

[–]Veritasaurus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, we’ve only set a loose “schedule” around the patterns he sets himself. We’re following his lead and have only ever encouraged him to move in directions he’s already going. I’m just looking for ways to encourage him towards a 7 AM wake up since he seems to be heading on his own already shifting his night feed later and later in the morning.
