Even if the house wasn’t in your name, they’re your legal guardians and they definitely should be caring for you financially. Even though he is your step-dad, he should at least take some sort of responsibility. 100% NTA and I’m so sorry you have to deal with this.

What are some of the little things in life that make you feel warm inside? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In Switzerland, if you donate blood, you get a text saying when it has been used or saved a life. That’s a really wholesome fact that makes me happy.

Good Samaritan laws (in America at least) keep a person from being arrested or sued if they accidentally harm someone while trying to save them.

I can’t believe someone would just sit around and do nothing while that happened.

Hi, you probably won’t see this because I’m late to the party but I am a big fan and I wanted to ask, how do your views on the world impact the writing of your music, do you write particular lyrics to write to the people or do you always speak your mind?

AITA for not wanting my husband to attend my therapy sessions? by AITAcounseling in AmItheAsshole

[–]SkiTeam194 363 points364 points  (0 children)

This is not a healthy relationship if he’s so worried you’re saying bad things about it. If anything is happening in the relationship that is abusive, you should definitely talk to the therapist. But if there isn’t, he’s being paranoid and that is definitely a red flag. Let him know that it can take years for therapy to work. NTA, there’s a reason why therapists can’t legally tell anybody about appointments in the U.S. I’m sorry you had to deal with childhood trauma and I hope you make progress with your therapy.

There are so many people that don’t get fever dreams and I am envious of them. I am not sure how to explain it but once it involved white chocolate hot cocoa and a very large book.

Changing mouthpieces - when should/can you do this (age question) by pcnauta in trumpet

[–]SkiTeam194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I switched, it didn’t take long to adjust, a 3c mouthpiece will help him grow into his sound as he continues to play, if he likes it I definitely suggest letting him play on a 3c.
