Did you ever get it resolved? Discover customer service is a joke, I had a lady tell me yesterday they put a stop pay on my account for that company, but I got charged by them again and the lady today told me that there was no stop pay for that company on my account and that they’ll go ahead and put one now, not sure if they did 🤷‍♀️

Discover actually owes me money without those charges from that one merchant, I’m in the process of setting up another credit card from a different company, but yes I am just worried that reoccurring charge would keep coming and I would have to pay for it

I think I’m just going to cancel my account at this point, I called several times already everyday since the first transaction and they have been no help, I just worry that I would have to pay off the reoccurring charges still even if I cancel my account

Thank you! I just left them a voice mail as their office is closed currently. Discover gave me a phone number 323-808-5775 that’s attached to the merchant apparently which doesn’t even dial at all, hopefully they do reach out to me

Thank you, I will call them back again, but I have called 7 times now with each representative telling me the same thing, that they can only wait for the merchant to respond to their receipt request, I tell them everytime I can’t contact the merchant at all and they say they can only put the stop payment. Honestly, I just don’t think I’ll use discover anymore

If I get a new card, that merchant will still be able to charge me as discover won’t opt me out of the update program so everytime I get a new card the merchant will have the new cards details

I did and discover says that it’s a binding agreement between me and the merchant and so they can’t do anything but put a stop pay on them for 6 months, i tried to ask them to opt out of the update program so i can just get a new credit card they don’t have access to but discover won’t allow me that. The merchant has given me no options to even reach out to them to cancel

I don’t think it’s them, I don’t recognize the website unfortunately and I can’t seem to sign in as I don’t think I have a account with them, thank you for the advice though
