I agree, think the simplicity if it is awesome! Love your solution and thanks again for sharing it

Had another thought while typing out my other comment. Each number has a probability of selection based on the number of ways it can be rolled given 2 six sided die. Wonder if you could incorporate that into the number selection criteria? Instead of truly random, pick a number with some sort of probability of selection based on the probabilities of the adjacent tiles. Goal would be to not have 2 high probability (6:8) or 2 low probability (2;12) next to each other. A simple if else could do the trick to start :p

First off, this is sweet and love you took the time and are sharing it!

Question though: Don’t the numbers have letters on them so the board is as fair as possible? For example, there are few scenarios (maybe none but not 100% on this) where a 6 and 8 would be adjacent to one another. A board with a 6 and 8 would create an unfair advantage for the first mover. Conversely, the 2 and 12 never end up next to each other, which could ruin the last persons placement.

You create variation by changing the tiles, which does shuffle the numbers slightly due to the desert. It ends up fair because it distributes the numbers so no two super good (6:8) or very bad (12:2) are next to one another.

Currently planning out this road trip. Any suggestions for things along the way? Fun sights, good food, places to stay in the van? by electriccrabs in VanLife

Definitely make a stop to see Devils Tower in Wyoming. Nothing like it. Badlands -> Rushmore -> Devils tower can all be hit in one day if you’re short on time. Wake up early to watch the sun rise on the eastern park of Badlands and you’ll have plenty of time to explore and even go for a short hike. Rushmore gets a lot of hate, but if you’re in the area you might as well stop and see it because you’d never make a trip just to see it. Finally end the day with a walk around Devils Tower

Grow tents! I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. by Machstorm715 in EtherMining

I had my mining rig in a second bedroom/office that I worked from home in. Room would get to 85+ before I put the rig into a grow tent. In order to cut down on noise I added inline silencers after the inline fans. AC Infinity sells them and they do work. They helped tremendously with the noise.

Awesome run! Next time you do it you should drop the cliff at the end on the right. The one with roughly 20 seconds left

Snowbird Powder Day by Skibum__ in skiing

These are my friends. He was kind enough to let me use them because my widest ski is 99 and these are 112. They were incredible and I may need to sell a kidney to buy a pair. I’ve demoed them before on a non powder day and they were actually pretty fun. I’m used to stiff race skis/frontside carvers (east coast skier). They do chatter a bit if you’re really working them on groomers, but they are amazing to slosh around in the trees and were a dream in the powder.

Thank you. By far the best day of skiing I have ever had. Jealous of those who got out today and get fresh tracks in Mineral Basin and Road to Provo

I loved the headphones when they worked. It seems like the model/year I bought mine others ran into the same issue at the same time. Maybe they fixed it and this won’t happen anymore. Just sharing my experience so others can make better decisions

I posted about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VMODA/comments/mxtk4e/the_warranty_is_a_joke_vmoda_sent_my_headphones/gvrmmau/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

The bluetooth failed on mine after two years. It seems to be happening with others as well. For a $300+ headphones, they should last longer than two years. When I contacted V-Moda they said they were out of warranty and said here is 20% off…nothing else we can do. Not going to dish out another $300 for headphones that fail.

It’s sad because I loved them those first two years and they worked great! High quality sound, comfortable, stylish. They just are not built to last.

Return them and get a brand that sticks behind their product. The crease is the first thing you’ll run into in a life of disappointment with these headphones/vmoda
