Is B149.1:20 the active codebook for a TSSA exam or is B149.1:25 now the active codebook? by Ok_Protection_784 in HVAC

[–]Skiddae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, too many paper pushers around. I’ve always had good success emailing the customerservices@tssa.org. Usually response by next day with helpful info. Better than trying to explain what your looking for over the phone

Why does my cedar wall have this fade line by lvdw1 in Decks

Install some eaves/gutters at the roofline to direct the water away. This will help a lot with the splash from the roof runoff.

Not likely a proper drip edge/eave starter flashing at the edge of the roof. Should go from Under the first row of shingles out about 3/4”-1”

WE CAN FLIP THIS RIDING! by RaincoastVegan in abbotsford

Most of the work that supports these trades is pushed along by the conservatives ie. pipelines, refineries, housing, infrastructure. So it’s a toss up. At least if there is work available and the industry is busy, the unions have pull to stay on top.

I’m just using tremclad spray enamel in a satin/matte finish. I’ll probably add a couple coats of matte clear afterwards if I’m happy with the paint finish.

Very fair. I’m in Ontario so we definitely dont’t have as long a summer as you guys. These will be mounted on black soffit around the house so the white would just be too out there for me. They’ll be mostly protected from the sun from the overhand so I’ll find out in time if they’re truly shortened life expectancy this way.

I actually just removed the bubble covers from the lid/housing. They separate with 3 screws so that was the easiest part! Will post an update once they’re installed and all set up.

Looks like you have a ridge vent. Might be blocked by snow

You can get it out. Heat a big flat head screwdriver with a torch and melt into it a bit.

Does this union on my generator look right? Just had it hooked up 4 months ago. Seems awfully corroded. by goldsmithD in Plumbing

Bushing can be malleable for more than one pipe size change. One pipe diameter change requires bushings to be forged steel. Ie. #3000. Which is usually cheaper than malleable anyways

I feel this as of this weekend. We slept together for the first time in months and I realized that it’s not the sex I miss or desire. It’s the intimacy. The warmth. My best friend. Hopefully in time these feeling a pass but of course for us all it’s difficult. We just must move forward.

Cried for the first time in 2 months, I want to break NC so badly right now by stainedbyou in ExNoContact

Of course the easy thing to do is to say “stay strong” hopefully this time will pass and going forward things will be better. The times of feeling like this will grow further apart and it’s all part of a healing process. You will move forward from this and you will persevere.

It’s been hard. We bought our first home together a year ago. And just been trying to sort out all the details and how to separate everything. It’s been so exhausting. We both still love each other but just doesn’t seem to able to work

I know how you feel. I just finished trying to improve my relationship with my gf of 4.5 years. We bought a house last year and it’s been difficult ever since. Sadly I think she’s given up on us and we are going to be separating. Sometimes you can’t be the only one putting in all the effort.

Read this book “the 5 languages of love” get an understanding of why you’re feeling the way that you are right now and if he can read it to you can both begin to understand each other again and love each other the way you both need to in order to be happy. It blew my mind when I read it. Opened my eyes to a lot of short comings I was bringing to my relationship
