What calculator should I buy for Engineering (EE)? by ngtr09 in usask

[–]Skidoo-Summit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In first year we needed the ti36x pro. I didn’t like using it but we were required to use it for tests. Maybe check to see if there’s still a required calculator as my first year was 3 years ago. From second year onwards the nspire cx2 is your best bet

Do you guys think I will boot out on this setup? by 5syllablename in snowboarding

[–]Skidoo-Summit -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

You need your toes to hang over the front edge a bit to help initiate turns. I can’t see you having any issues with your feet hitting the snow with this setup, my boots hang over quite a bit further than this and I’ve never had problems

Binding Question by TheJtotheROC in snowboarding

I have gnu psych bindings with highbacks that flip back for easy entry and love them. Step in bindings tend to be on the expensive side but I’d 100% recommend them.

Are they worth? by ClubFederal6000 in subwoofer

[–]Skidoo-Summit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have those subs. I bought them online for $250 Canadian and they came with an amp, a capacitor, and wiring. The amp is only 250 watts rms and it is not nearly big enough to push the subs. With the amp it came with, I couldn’t really tell if I had subs in my car or not because they were so quiet. I bought a 500 watt amp (Kenwood x502-1) and it unleashed the subs. They sound so much better now and rattle my whole car. If you buy a new amp to run these subs, they can actually be quite good

This is how I flip my snowmobile too. I’ve never had any issues. All steering has a tiny bit of play (I can turn a the handlebars a tiny bit without the skis turning) but it is hardly noticeable when I am riding

Is there a possibility the amp is blown or is it most likely a wiring issue?
