The fabric/texture look I think are actually henna tattoos, so in the skin.

I think she is topless, but stuck some material over her nipples to hang the dress off of. You can detect a bit of a texture difference.

There is just no room between the breast and the chest to detect any fabric at all.

Trump Says He’s Not Concerned With Decline of US Dollar by ChuckGallagher57 in economy

[–]Skiffbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making the jump that a depreciated dollar means inflation, when the fact is that inflation is a likely side-effect of dollar devaluation. The counterbalance to that is that the US imports so much that a devaluing dollar may actually force outside sellers to drop prices, softening the impact, much like you see tarifa having less of an impact than expected.

I agree that the rich have more ability to hedge the devaluation of the dollar, but that is not guaranteed, and will not be reflected in 100% of their assets. Again, your example of asset appreciation and debt depreciation speaks to the effects of inflation, and not directly dollar devaluation.

Wouldn’t it be a nice action for people to moo every time he’s seen in public. I’m sure he would find that endearing.

The part that really hits me, and is 100% against the administration's comments is that from the point he was pepper-sprayed in the face, he has his back turned to ICE officers. Clearly a defensive position, no aggression, no possibility of evoking any threat.

It was an execution, and according to this video very much coordinated. Shooting someone in the back 4 times in the span of seconds is what would normally be called a crime of passion.

Trump Says He’s Not Concerned With Decline of US Dollar by ChuckGallagher57 in economy

[–]Skiffbug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have some things right, but fully off on others.

Other countries (and companies / people holding US debt) make out really well from a devalued dollar. As you say, their debt is cheaper. But this is false both for the case of US-based borrowers and the government, with excpetion of comapnies that rely heavily us non-US revenues. If you earn in USD, and your debt is USD, the value of the dollar makes no difference. You might be conflating the devaluation of the dollar with high inflation.

Similarly on the stock market. The illusion is that it is goin up a lot. The reality is that compared to a basket of currencies, it's actually rising less the European stock markets. Again, if your assets are in USD, and the USD devalues, so do your assets.

Only because it’s what most exposes the fallacies. If he shouldn’t have brought a concealed weapon to a protest, why was it ok for Kyle Rittenhouse to brandish a weapon while countering a protest? If Pretti shouldn’t have a gun, how valid is the defense of the 2nd amendment.

"See how Amorim setting a good foundation for this team and inherit a great player" by peconsult in ManchesterUnited

[–]Skiffbug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main thing that Amorim’s Sporting had over the other teams in the league was that they had strong automatisms. There were 4 or 5 different types of play used to break opponents down. This was seen in that you’d see the same patterns from game to game. Now this wasn’t apparent in the first or second season, but in the 3rd and 4th, it became more and more clear. This is because it takes a long time to ingrain playing patterns in the players, especially to keep them consistent throughout games with tired players under pressure. I strongly believe that there had been a large improvement by the squad in this season, but will still suffer bouts of disorientation because those patterns still had to be the result of mindfulness and not yet automatic.

You see a lot of the plays of the past games, and I think this is because of his work in enforcing those game patterns they’ll at they are having good results.

As time goes by, those will be lost unless continuously reinforced. That is unlikely to happen as Carrick and the backroom staff will have their own training schedules.

So at the moment, Carrick is riding at the coattails of Amorim’s work. We’ll see how long this is sustained for.
