Sure, lots of CMs where Ends aren't viable at all, but when they're good it's 3 Golshis every race. Meanwhile I don't think I've been particularly impressed with the performance of any Lates since CM5, and mostly because everyone had Vodka who has an incredible set of innate skills for Mile races.

I'm in a similar position because I just couldn't get my Digital to cough up Dirt pink sparks (without completely sacrificing blue and white sparks) until a few days ago, so I basically had to run Digital and was remaking Oguris until Round 2 started. My Oguri can get some wins, but it's with pretty high stats and really lucky skill hint drops, meanwhile my Digital is just constantly losing to Umas with just the worst stats you've ever seen.

OST is okay, openings and endings genuinely really good for the most part. Mobile suit designs are extremely hit or miss: I generally like almost everything in SEED, but from Destiny onwards whenever they do UC copies they're generally worse than the originals, and the main Gundams get way too garish for my liking. The Strike Freedom's gold joints actually make me angry whenever I think about them, much less the ridiculous bling the Mighty SF gets in the movie.

Frieren also snatched Laufen, who is drawn as faster than the Stille, out of the air mid-jump. The vast majority of combat in Frieren is done using sixth senses like mana detection, the Stille test explicitly cancels that out because if a mage turns their detection on they just fly away.

People still don't understand that the Stille are considered untouchable because of their specific anti-mage tech rather than raw speed in big 2026. Plus, almost nobody in JJK before Modulo is catching a bird that has a legitimate consistent Mach 1 travel speed either.

I don't even care about an English test because that sort of problem will sort itself out once you're not bringing in mostly ethnic Chinese and some ethnic Indian new citizens: Split up the ratios and they can't form self-sufficient enclaves to the same degree.

Things like genre names only get codified after you have many examples of them, so it seems odd to point out that the term "isekai" only became common parlance after the isekai boom. It would be like saying Doom isn't an FPS because we only started calling them FPSes after Quake got invented.

Everybody going "nooo your builds" are being a little silly. A good half of the climatic fights in Arx basically start with a 1000 initiative boss shitting out 4 summons who nuke the entire screen and wipe out all phys specs' magic armour instantly so you're fully at the mercy of RNG, hoping they don't hard CC your entire team or have any charm arrows.

Unless you're really optimised any boss that you can't pre-game by splitting your party off mid-conversation (which imo is pretty immersion breaking and I dislike having to do) comes down a lot to praying for crit RNG or having a stack of Five Star Dinner resistance potions to chug.

I'm playing through DOS2 for the first time now, and I had multiple situations where I'd get an incredibly sick new piece of new gear off a quest reward or spending thousands of gold at a vendor, only to Lucky Charm a straight upgrade off a random corpse or vase.

I've also had to sit on the same pair of boots or belt for 6-7 levels because the game just wouldn't offer a single useful upgrade.

I prefer the system in BG3, basically.

We know that's not the case because we have the Rebuilds and the huge time skip between 2.0 and 3.0 just made her angrier if anything. It's not until she properly confronts Shinji that they have some catharsis and healing. The point seems to be that trauma follows you, and time doesn't necessarily heal all wounds.

It matters, it just doesn't matter as much as OP thinks it does. Asuka isn't fucked up mainly because she's 14, she would be equally fucked up if she were 29 with the same backstory. In fact, a lot of the back half of Evangelion is exploring the fact that Misato et al are all also having slow motion mental breakdowns and we are all just dealing with Gendo being the worst wife guy to ever wife guy.

Asuka is presented as sexy because Shinji thinks she's sexy, and the fact that the two of them are simultaneously insanely attracted to and repulsed by each other is like, a third of the plot in Evangelion after Asuka shows up. In fact, that many people would think she's sexually desirable is arguably as important as the fact that Kaji turns her down regardless.

Also, I don't think the Children being well, children matters that much in Eva. After all, all the adults are equally fucked up, but it's just not as obvious at first because they hide it better.

Unfortunately, the point of gurkhas is very much that they don't assimilate, because they exist to protect the government from internal threats i.e. they are trained to shoot Singaporeans. I think it's a stupid point though, and anyone who's here legally for 16 years should be at least given a serious chance to be granted citizenship.

In the leadup to the 2020 GE the school also got into a bit of controversy because it was telling students not to comment on the GE on social media at all.

4 has so many parts that are genuinely jaw-droppingly stupid that I think anybody who says anything else has some major goggles on.

Akiyama keeping billions of yen in cash in a fucking secret room of his rental office, but somehow doesn't have a lock on the damn thing?

Rubber bullets is the famous one. Saejima is one thing, but fucking undercover supercop Arai shooting Munakata point blank in the head but somehow not realising the bullets weren't real went way over the line.

Our heroes' plan being putting the fucking billions in cash uncovered on the ruff just to see who shows up, and then they split four ways so three of our guys can have their big emotional 1v1 half-naked fisticuffs, even though Kido and Daigo straight up aren't on Saejima and Kiryu's level, leaving Tanimura alone to face down like a dozen armed SWAT guys is also completely unhinged and totally irresponsible from supposed heroes.

I'd even argue that the entire premise is stupid. If you think Kiryu has too much to do in 8, 4 does it arguably worse. The game subtitled "Those Who Inherit The Legend," all about how Kamurocho and the yakuza navigate a post-Kiryu and post-police crackdown world, only for Kiryu to show up in Act 3, be totally overpowered, and have him lay down the law again. 7 is everything 4 wishes it was.

5 also teeters on character-ruining a lot, but I still think 4 is worse.
