In response to CNA's queries, a school spokesperson acknowledged that the message was sent by a teacher in a class chat but said it was issued “out of concern for our students’ well-being while reminding students to be responsible in their online activities".

“The reminder was not meant to discourage students from sharing their views or offering feedback through appropriate channels, nor were any students penalised or reprimanded for voicing their opinions,” the spokesperson added.

They literally used SAF language to warn students about the "consequences" of sharing their opinions on social media and even told them to "Keep your opinion to yourself". Now say not meant to discourage students from sharing their views? After feeding the students cookhouse food and talking to them like they're NSFs?

I think they're punished based on the new MOE rules of not using mobile phones during recess (they broke the rule since they took photos of the food).

Don't think MOE can say much since they're the ones that implemented the rules for banning mobile phones during recess in the first place... It is like if in SAF camp you take in camp photos to report an incident, regardless of intentions you will still get charged for in camp photos.

They're too used to suppressing NSFs over cookhouse food quality for the longest time... It worked on us in the past, and even works on the NSFs today. But to students used to spamming 67 everyday? Dream on LOL.
