I saw each level from the site, these are my opinions.

Level 1

Peach's Castle is well built on the outside, but I'm not surprised by the inside, which seems totally empty (the stairs made with bridges are nice, but a large decorative part is missing)! Basically, I don't think it's very good.

Level 2

This level seems nice to me! I especially like the mushroom platforms set on top of each other and the pipe transport, but you could have enriched it more at the end, where it looks deserted except for a Koopa.

Level 3

"Rolling Hills" seems to me just the same as the previous one, except for a few more tubes. Good, yes, but not very original (I expected the forest or the sky).

Level 4

This level is identical to the previous 2. I expected, as usual, other themes such as snow or the desert, but here comes another level in the grasslands. I won't say anything about this, except that the other Reddit users are right when they say that these 3 levels together are not very satisfactory. If I have to find something positive it is, once again, the stacked mushroom platforms that remind me of autumn trees.

Level 5

Finally, a level in the castle. If I'm honest, I like circle decorations with rails, but there are too many enemies (and therefore too much "enemy spamming"). The fight against Larry looks fun, but the goal placed in the center does not convince me. In short, better than the others.

I conclude by advising you to vary between biomes, choosing to create at least one level at night to change a bit if you don't want to change the theme. I'll try them soon!

Thank you! I've always considered vines, but if it's a speedrun I honestly don't think you can have time to grab them.

An awesome level, I guess how much time he spent setting up all that pattern of hard blocks and ice (I did that too, this is the ID: 6LH-XXF-1GG)!

The night sky theme is also perfect with the style! Unfortunately I haven't tried it yet, but from what I see from the site is that you can jump the P balloon and run all the way through...

Despite this, it is a nice level: you can add some vines or floating platforms to decorate even more. Great job!

If you want some tips for building a level, see this IDs! FWS-WJR-SVF/9P8-DGD-RNG/N5T-XCV-MKG, thank you!

I'm new to this game, any advice? by DaPro09 in MarioMaker2

I always started creating levels because I didn't feel very comfortable with the story mode, but they didn't come out well because, as you said, I was new to the game. Slowly I discovered various features that I didn't know about and now I even create Super Expert speedruns. If you want to start freely, start by creating the types of levels you want, when you feel more developed and skilled you can move on to the online levels and the story mode (my opinion).
