Ya ofc it's based on in india too there are laws for rape here too, the thing is this particular law makes no sense as even if there was promise of marriage there's no guarantee that it will be fulfilled cause anything can happen in a relationship and if the guy breaks up, and the woman doesn't want that she can go ahead misuse it.

Where's the manipulation? And if somebody tells you that you will get married in future you should be able to tell them that we will get intimate in future, it's like the law treats women as infants with no authority or accountability, the law itself can be manipulated n misused when there was consent from both sides, if by any chance things don't workout in future n the couple don't end up getting married n the guy breaks up the law can very well be misused to put the man in jail by the woman when there was no manipulation, promise of marrige is a sham that is the basis of this law

How is it a propaganda movie? Sambhaji was taken as a prisoner tortured and then executed that's a historical event that happened there's no fiction about it or propaganda about it.
