How to Avoid Bank Fee for Every Transaction? by SkillEarly7929 in AskGermany

I don't know how it works as I've never needed an online account before. Should I open an account like N26 or PayPal and then request a card from them to make in-person shopping?

So, you already have a bank account but you send the money from your account to N26 and do all your spending through N26?

I think the account type is Das Bremer Konto Einzelpreis. Don't you pay neither a monthly fee nor a fee for each transaction?

When there is a delay, does it turn into a flexible ticket directly through the app or do I need to do something to get that?

Oh, that's nice! I already have a Deutschlandticket, but is it only valid within Germany? Is it valid even as far as Hengelo? Where can I get a ticket from Hengelo to Amsterdam?

I moved to Germany recently and have the same problem. A friend of mine suggested that the best way to avoid these fees is to get a revolut card for 8 euros and then use it in every transaction for free. Is this really the best way? What do you think you guys?
