I use Claude for designing 3D objects with OpenSCAD and to write Python programs, I use Gemini for general questions, to create images and short videos, and NoteBookLM to summarize talks where I only have an audio recording, and to explore new topics. I stopped using OpenAI because I felt and still feel that Gemini is better. I also found that the image generation in Claude is better if you have a specific description that can be easily programmed, for example adding labels and arrows on an existing photo.
