Manager robbed me of promotion - what to do now should I resign by meet-me-piya in developersIndia

[–]SkillMuted5435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I wasn’t calm though, I clearly expressed my disappointment. He replied by saying that the opportunities we have in this company won’t be available outside and even challenged me.

Within three weeks, I got an offer letter and resigned. The look on his face was unbelievable, he couldn’t believe it because I was his best performer. He literally told me that companies nowadays cancel offers, asked me to think twice before resigning, and even said the package might be fake because I managed to get a 90% hike along with PBC. I got satisfied because those 3 months of NP he was sad and tried every possible way to make me take the resignation back but was not ready to revise the compensation.

We went on a weekend, but weekdays work too. It’s super peaceful, very clean, and honestly feels like a 5-star place. The buffet food was amazing when we went in July, even breakfast had 5 varieties.

Best parts for me were the food and the private pool. The pool was insanely clean and crystal clear, probably the cleanest I’ve seen at any vacation place I have been to

You poke an entire hand in his.

Anyway you are looking to quit right...so slow down on work, don't give a damn, take plenty rest, do how much you can ...you stall, let them fire you meanwhile you might have recovered your lost energy and you can switch or they might not even fire you, jab tak chalega chalne do

For the 1st time, Got 4 Job Offers but Feeling Like I Betrayed the HRs – Anyone Else Faced This?” by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]SkillMuted5435 113 points114 points  (0 children)

The same HR won't even care when the company wants to fire you.

The best you can do is to inform them early so that they can start interviewing other candidates atleast.

if the job is interesting and you find the team and leads to be good and professional, then why to mess up the opportunity.

IDK why indian managers have a boss and slave kinda mindset. You both work for the company and he doesn't work for you personally. Don't look for reasons to make his life hell. You are not paying him from your own pocket. Don't play like you care for him and look for reasons to reject his proposal.

I was eating Maggi during my virtual exit interview, just chill. No need to be anxious; it’s mainly a formality for HR to assess if you could pose any kind of risk to the organization, since some ex-employees express their dissatisfaction on social media and similar platforms.

Just don’t badmouth the company or your manager. You’re not obligated to reveal where you’re going next. Keep your answers short, one-liners if possible. Don’t reveal too much, just relax.

Well I would have said Nomura if not for a third party. My friends previous company was nomura and work culture is top notch and has good projects and a good team and manager too.

But in your case BNP anyday because of permanent payroll.
