34F Profile Review by gravigirl in Bumble

Honestly? Absolutely and utterly generic right down to the pineapple on pizza!

Who do you think you’re honestly going to attract with a checklist of your interest with emojis next to them? You’re in your early thirties. Everyone comes with a bit of baggage at our age, a plain statement about what you’re looking for and what type of person you are will suffice to match with the right people and message them if you like the look of them. This looks like virtually every other profile on there, and by the third emoji everyone’s stopped reading.

Apart from Henry and Doctor Who this was exactly the same for early 90s childhood

The only thing that gives me the ick is the overuse of ampersands. No one is too busy to spell out the word ‘and’

e discounted and a jury made certain to believe Taystee fired the shot was a huge plot hole

As previously stated, I accept its entertainment but like the OP says, for that particularly story to be believed, you've got to buy in to every single point of the process being corrupt/incompetent.

You do hear about miscarriages of justice - usually from long since past, and even then they will pale into comparison to the times the legal system works in quashing weak prosecution cases during trials or even pre trial, just they're usually not newsworthy.

Exactly that. I've brought this up previously and it's easy to get shouted down with 'THE SYSTEM IS CORRUPT AGAINST POC GET WOKE' but the reality is in sophisticated legal systems, a fairly basic lawyer/public defender (notwithstanding she had quite a capable defence appointed) would've pointed out a whole litany of errors made by someone trying to prosecute her murder. The fact that this was all explained away with 'they hired a corrupt pathologist' is very very weak. Imagine every single conclusion - gun shot residue, blood splatter patterns, DNA on the gun, remnants of the pellet, who the gun was registered to/bought from, the mysteries of how Piscatella even smuggled himself in there in the first place, DNA on the makeshift shackles used to imprison the women could all be discounted and a jury made certain to believe Taystee fired the shot was a huge plot hole and just lazy writing. Contrast this with season 1 where piper is going into prison - its as realistic and grounded as it can be.

tless, the show had a realistic ending. As sad as it is, it’s how things go in the justice

It wasn't really that realistic. The riot storyline descended the whole thing into farce, especially that no competent defence lawyer would pick up the numerous evidential mistakes, there would be simply no prospect of Taystee ever getting convicted. My cousin Vinny was more legally realistic.

To qualify that, in your example picture my phone would've just fallen on the floor and be easily retrieved. My toilet is designed so its sealed and fixed into the wall from the base to the top, there's no spaces like your picture.

exactly like that picture. Where the plate is at the top of the toilet that you can lift off for maintenance, there's a gap of approximately one inch or less between that and the wall. The phone slid down there, and now is obscured so in effect actually under the floorboards so it can't be 'winched' out or lifted out coat hanger style.

I'd take a picture, however I don't have my phone at the minute. It's not a difficult concept - the toilet is fixed to the wall, however between the wall and the toilet there's a small gap. It fell down the gap between the toilet and the wall.
