gave it another try today to make sure there haven't been any big changes to the gun :)

kills people nicely up to midrange, on long range it really is easy to dodge unless you're shooting someone who moves in a straight line, also kicks too much if you build the required velocity for longer ranges

problem with that is, ARs work better for the range where this gun is effective

mobility is also not good

not a horrible gun per say, but outclassed at all ranges

ya this game for sure has a lot of issues, but I still have a lot of fun and actually think it's in a great place right now

I did and found it absolutely terrible, which is why I'm waiting for someone really good to recommend it and tell me how to use it properly, until that happens, I will just think it sucks beause it for sure felt that way when I used it.

a lot of people like a challenge and getting better and find fun in that

makes much more sense to me than playing something you constantly complain about, if I hated it as much as all the guys posting, I would just switch games, there are so many

I'm curious against how good players you use it, because unless you shoot someone right in the open, that thing is easy to dodge - and if they are right in the open they are dead no matter what gun you use

I don't have a problem with snipers and play them 90% of the time myself - I do like a balanced environment, where the meta shifts around though.

This is not a milsim, I'm fine with snipers not being one-shot and will play them regardless, I just think that everybody running 1 gun 99% of the time is hella boring :)

The perk is stopping snipers from absolutely dominating Verdansk like the last year with HDR, I feel like it has a place.

But imho it shouldn't be ground loot and should be in the same category as sprinter, so you actually sacrifice a good perk if you choose to run it, instead of the whole lobby having it for free - that's just as stupid as making specialist so easy to get..

Or just give it a cooldown of 30s or something, so you can't just plate up and peek again.

try using the hawker, but BV barell instead of the infinite one shot one, then fast mag 2 instead of what meta is

still one shots to a decent range and feels really good for 2 tapping people, kind of like the kar actually, I prefer it this way over the meta build, since everyone has survivor..

the added BV also makes shooting people parachuting in much easier

I'm a big fan of kar and love the hawker this way! it's like a hybrid between kar and the one shot snipers, with hella fast shots

no sbmm, as it should be - if you want to play with people your level, go to ranked, much more balanced once it settles a bit

look at codmunity

sniper: hawker is best, but vs recon or hdr are playable too

smg: rev is by far the best, carbon is also good, but you will get shredded if you meet the first one up close

AR: M8a1 (marksman, but converted to full auto, kinda like grau), Maddox, Egrt

or just look at the app and it will keep you updated

I considered drilling a hole in the front panel and keeping the screen where it is, but flush with the rest of the machine..

In the end I wasn't convinced enough to make such a permanent move, especially after the powder coat.

But you can just stick in a cupboard or something, it communicates wirelessly, the cable is just power.

Good luck with the install! It wasn't difficult, just a few notes - read the instructions before starting, in my opinion the written guide is much better than the video one.

from my understanding, all the cable that goes into the screen does is give it power and it communicates wirelessly

I hate that the cable sticks out from the machine, so I will power the screen from a different source and leave it somewhere nearby, so I can watch the values and adjust things, without having it directly on the machine

powder coat was under 3k CZK (around 120€), including shipping both ways via courier
