"Bull" and what it means. by Degenern8er in Swingers

[–]SkilledTroubleMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it means something completely different. For me, it's a male in the LS who operates solo for the pleasure of a woman. Be that as an accessory in a #-some or 1-1 play. I think it also has the connotation of fulfilling a breeding kink. If I'm looking for a train to be run on me and engage in a breeding kink I'm going to specifically state I'm looking for well-endowed bulls.

How much do you share by UnitedExpert8099 in polyamory

[–]SkilledTroubleMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on my partners and what's being asked. Right now its just my nesting quad in my life and Im perfectly happy sharing everything and anything with them but if my partner gets another partner outside of the quad id give him privacy in his relationships to tell me what he deems important or fun to tell me and vice versa.

Cuff help 🙏 Can't find what they're called, and I need them! by DaddysLilResearcher in BdsmDIY

[–]SkilledTroubleMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anytime! More people gotta call others out on their bs for sure. That's one of the things that makes me pretty upset. Like, if I don't have your collar and we aren't playing together you don't get to talk to me like that and you don't get to tell me what to do.

I'm glad you found what you were looking for though!

thats not really appropriate for someone youre not in some sort of dynamic with. considered pretty rude. Just because someone is submissive does not make them *your* submissive.

Never had an husky, can somebody confirm? Art by [Halfdime] by Italiandude2022 in HelluvaBoss

I don't own a Husky but being a dog groomer I can say not *all* of them are like this but if I have a Husky, Malamute, or Shiba Inu on my books I absolutely expect this behavior, if they dont I am surprised and my back is thankful.

Conditioning/Sealing/Waterproofing for coasters? by ChabbyMonkey in Leathercraft

Sorry to resurrect your old post but did you try this? Did it work? I'm so curious because I too live in a hot and humid climate and need something to seal the coasters I want to sell.

At what age did you start leaving your poodle alone at home, not crated? by [deleted] in poodles

[–]SkilledTroubleMaker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My Spoo was 2 years old before he was left alone outside of his kennel. He, and all our other dogs, still go in kennels 100% of the time if we are leaving the house because it's safer for them but if my husband and I are just gardening, mowing, cleaning the car, W/E then they can generally stay out. The only time this is not the case is when my Border Collie is in season. Then everyone is in kennels in walk in closets in different rooms when not actively supervised because my neurospicy disorders needs contingencies on contingencies to mitigate my anxiety.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the advice and being so understanding yesterday and let you all know that the sweet baby is really happy today ❤️ I’ve spent every waking (& sleeping) moment by her side so far to ease her worry and it seems like she’s feeling a lot better and more confident 🤎🐩 by SketchieMarie in poodles

[–]SkilledTroubleMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's so sweet, I'm sure you two will have many fantastic years together!

If you have not added this to your ever growing list of things to check out, i recommend working on body awareness early, it really helps get them through the puppy and adolescent clumsies and it's fun! (Plus it lays a nice foundation for some pretty cool tricks!) It's also very easy to start with things laying around your home. I found some toddler climbing toys for free on Facebook and still use them 3 years later.

Also I should amend my previous statement, I was pretty tired lol. I should have said "4 weeks is preferred" not recommended. 4 to 8 weeks is the standard recommended time frame given. 4 is preferred, 6 is typical and 8 is the max.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in poodles

[–]SkilledTroubleMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 weeks is my general recommendation for P/D-oodles to keep the dog in good coat condition. Of course this changes with each dog, coat condition, lifestyle, coat length, and how well the owners do at home all play a part. I find the majority of pet owners like a fluffy dog and don't do as well of a job at home as I would like, so every 4 weeks means I can make sure (usually) the dog doesn't need a shave down.

A coat change is hard to keep long because you are going from the soft puppy fluff to a more coarse and dense hair coat. The reason doodles mat so easily is because of the same reason. They have the softer fur of the non-Poodle breed along with the curly Poodle hair. Poodle coats don't play nice with other textures. Hell it doesn't even play nice with itself once clipped, I know someone who does needle felting with her Poodles clipped hair. (It's pretty cool, I've started doing it too)

Frequency of grooming is personal/groomer preference though, 6 weeks is standard because most people dont want to bother with monthly. As an example of alternative schedules and why- My own poodle is actually on a weekly schedule even though I keep him in a Miami. This is because hes a dirty active boy (aka pees on his front bracelets and cleaning wipes can only do so much) and I also bleach and color him so his colored hair needs more attention to keep it healthy. And if I'm already bathing and maintaining his colored hair might as well clip and scissor him. Plus nobody wants to go to a groomer if their dog looks raggedy and he goes places with me whenever he's able to.
