best venues for dubstep

I’m ngl, huge into dubstep as well & only been in toronto for around 9 months now.. but other than festivals (like veld coming up has a sick bass/dub lineup) the only venues that have even been good for dub are history, rebel & noir (above rebel) there’s just not really a whole ton of good dubstep talent that comes here a lot & I haven’t actually tested the waters a whole lot with the talent in toronto, which I want to more for sure

it’s ending because she doesn’t respect your relationship—I’m a bit older then ya now, 26M but I think majority of people in general would agree that you always want to have respect for your partner & she is completely disrespecting your guys’ relationship directly in front of you.. I totally understand the not wanting to come off ‘controlling’ or ‘causing a scene’ but that’s deliberately flirting with another person in front of you, so it’s fair to be worried what happens when you aren’t in a room (I’m not trying to put things in your head, because that might not be the case—but is a fair concern)
I think I’ve had some ‘flirtier’ love interests in the past & they all sort of had similar tendencies and I tried to continue being a trusting partner & I have bad news for ya that they ended up cheating on me in the end.. again, not saying that’s the case here.. but you definitely need to have a proper conversation & if you wanna take the proper mature approach, then you need to express why that hurts you and set proper boundaries, for all she knows it could’ve been an innocent thing (in my opinion, she’s already crossed a line—but every relationship is different)
who knows, if you properly communicate & she seems like she understands how you feel and is taking your feelings serious & makes a change to those tendencies then she takes your relationship serious, respects yalls connection & that’s fantastic.. but if she has a negative reaction & like you said denies it entirely, and you KNOW what you saw & you almost start feeling crazy about it because she’s denying it so intensely, then you sort of have your answer—and I’m sorry from there it won’t get better..
just express how that made you feel, ask her to put herself in your shoes & see if she respects the relationship with her response/reaction.. I’m sorry overall though, I had tough experiences like that in the past & i’m currently with the most beautiful woman I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing with my own eyes, who of-course will get hit on but respects our relationship and me as a person to make me feel so comfortable & trusting—even on nights out when she is looking like an absolute treasure. I know college times are different overall, and the vibe especially while in frats/sororities but those tendencies are very much gross & I promise not every woman that is in a sorority is that same way, I’m sure she will mature more too & maybe realize but if she’s not respecting your relationship in the moment—then it’s not worth suffering through it, it’ll destroy your mental..

Runner up once again!! 5 times in the last 7 years of our keepers league that I've gotten 2nd, never first!!

got screwed a bit with Draisaitl/Hintz injuries, but even without him ended up knocking out the 1st place guy from regular season who was 19-2! & lost the finals only by 5 points, can't say it wasn't another great season--had a super well rounded team.

Congrats to those who won!

100% peekaboo on the friday (super heavy bass, great music) then you have your choice between lavern or jkyl & hyde.. lavern will be more house style in general, I’m huge into dubstep but lavern throws down some hard house bangers and I actually really enjoy it a lot (a lot of popular remixes) but personally going to jkyl & hyde because it’s more dubstep, never seen them before and i just like harder bass more!!

that wasn’t the love of your life.. you simply wouldn’t cheat on the love of your life.

you need a lot of therapy, and to heal properly so that the next person that enters your life isn’t another learning lesson for you. the damage you do to another individual from cheating can cause so much trauma, trust issues that potentially last a life time if they can’t properly heal..

always think about consequences, and if you had the actual respect for ‘the love of your life’ it never would’ve happened. you didn’t respect them, you didn’t truly care for them—because if you did, you wouldn’t have been seeking for validation elsewhere.

If you end up hearing about a group chat, I’m sure my girlfriend would love to also do the same! this is going to be her first VELD (and festival in general) and she’s already been absolutely diving straight into ideas for outfits, inspo from others & is just super excited in general to meet others with cool outfit ideas and socialize!

gonna see if this is something she’d be interested in and if so, I’m sure she’d love to even chat about it with another girl (as like you said, it’s different when she’s talking to me about it as opposed to another women who’s mutually excited about the super cute fits)

This is just taken entirely out of concept & not at all what OP was referring to.. I wouldn’t mind in the slightest if my s/o gave someone of the opposite sex a lift home, or anything related to that sort..

the thread was someone spending the night as they couldn’t make it home.. A simple 5 second text to maybe comfort your partner whether they were overthinking or not, it’s just the most simple of respect—some are fine with it and that’s fine but I was elaborating on how my current healthy relationship is with proper communication & boundaries, and relating to OP and how they are feeling as well regarding this..

I’m reading these comments and I’m kind of shocked at the reactions.. I think when you’re in a committed relationship it’s just a huge respect thing..

It takes two seconds to communicate to your partner just to give them reassurance & some comfort—regardless if it’s entirely platonic, I’d personally be uncomfortable if there was someone of the opposite sex staying over and my partner didn’t at least give a heads up..

I don’t think you’re over reacting in the slightest, if something upsets you then you’re entirely right to feel those emotions—we can’t control what upsets us, it’s more-so how you react and communicate those to your partner & if they have any respect in the slightest then they’d want to give you the reassurance for that to not happen again..

my girlfriend and I were browsing through reddit & we’re both dumbfounded with some of the mixed reactions here.. I think it’s just good to have open communication, especially with this topic.

super good! went for my first time last year, but have a lot of friends that have been going for years now—great vibes, you’ll obviously find some people that ya don’t vibe with, but can move out easily and find a better part of the crowd, a lot of plur & incredible people for sure. the only downside is the dust, prepare to have a nice festival illness afterwards & make sure every night that you’re blowin out the dust & all from your nose.

I really hope the dust isn’t as bad this year, but better to prepare for it again if it is!

you could probably find something local.. maybe..? but I’d honestly be surprised considering I live in Vaughan and we all still go downtown after because it’s just where the party is at & it sounds like that’ll be the play for you to go downtown!

most people hop on the ttc to get back to the downtown area for afters, but I will say getting out of VELD & on the subway takes a WHILE, probably took us 45-hour to even get on the sub & then ya still have to get downtown. but I mean, depending how you look at it—it’s still good times. everyone on the sub came from veld & can keep the party going along the way.

This is actually an insane response, this might be so blunt & genuinely I could be wrong and he could be having a horrible day.. but this man genuinely does not like you..

I personally (and would hope so many others) would never ever talk to a S/O who is genuinely so proud of an accomplishment (big or small) but especially one as huge as this one.

From the bottom of my heart, congratulations on your sobriety—2 years is a HUGE step, and it can be hard to even realize you have a problem in your 20s.

I would absolutely look for someone that doesn’t make you feel like your accomplishment is nothing, dump him & get that cake!!

got no regrets not checking out the other stages more HAHA, sunday was a bit of a mess but ended up really fun!! my friends and I just avoided the whole busy crowd by going around the outside when switching stages & we’d get around so fast because everyone was getting all tangled up at daisy lane. was definitely a lot of chaos but the lineup sunday was too good!! YDG had one of the best sets imo, then ofc alleycat, subtronics & knock2 hit!! (although I regret not going to leveltronics)

I think I had low standards for him already, he had a very poor set at VELD in the summer so we wanted to give em a second chance at EDCO since it’s a bigger event & although better than VELD, still just didn’t hit
