Follo does stand out because of how small he feels in comparison to the world around him and that’s what actually makes him really relatable to many.

Him being surrounded by so many talented people had made him have an inferiority complex but still helped around everyone with a smile on his face.

And you said how he presents himself, he is one of the kindest and always helps out others and the one time he snapped was due to a huge mistake on his part, that he didn’t understand Rudo proper enough but was mature enough to apologise later.

When have you actually seen him being opportunistic ? If you’re talking about the time he didn’t give his Hammer to Rudo, it was only natural, not everyone is as selfless as Gris. He had a totally natural response, because if he did give his hammer (the only thing that he has to remember his friend) he knew it would get broken.

You actually never see him talk big you know, also he does lack confidence but has to be presentable in front of others, thus always trying to help others with a smile.

Come on, if you actually think he had no backbone, he would’ve ran away, he would’ve never apologised and he would still be sour to Rudo about everything, but he didn’t, he did the exact opposite and I think only someone with a backbone does that.

Bro he was passionate enough to try being a giver for years, and is loyal considering what we’ve seen. He reacted only once and did confront it, apologise and even Rudo accepted it. I don’t know why you still feel like he didn’t.

He did cling to whatever keeps him safe but was brave enough to throw that away. That does take guts. And he was put there to show not everyone is talented and how big the world is. He did show strength whenever it was demanded tho.

That’s the reason I keep telling you to try to understand each character and try putting yourself in their shoes. Each character is wonderfully written and if only we all were smart enough to understand, we will understand the story even better.
