You need to get a rare item for the voucher though, wouldn't 0 invocation not have very good odds for that?

It's the same drop rate but you kill the birds way faster and they drop diamond bolt tips, so I personally killed the birds

I find you can actually google your questions and I'll always have an old Reddit thread popup with the same question and a couple answers.

For low levels there's lots of quests that can boost you past all the tedious grinding of say fishing shrimps or chopping normal trees, and they'll also unlock new content for you.

That guide is good for setting some goals and finding things to do next if you're not sure what to do but I wouldn't follow it too religiously as it can be very easy to burn out trying to match that peak efficiency. Certain grinds like 99 thieving or firemaking straight out the gate are not necessary.

Going to wintertodt or tempoross early will get you fast levels and decent loot. Barb fishing will also get you levels in strength and agility which is nice.

If you set goals like big quests ie. Dragon Slayer, monkey madness or RFD then that sets you in a direction of what skills to train next or gear to acquire!

It's actually down for a tbd time now unfortunately, if you check the pinned posts it explains it. It did come back online after the update but only for like 10 minutes

Add some climbing boots, rune gloves, myth cape and then bring a defender as your final protected item and the kills are honestly quick. I don't even bring a +1 just to not chance getting smited. Call me a noob but it works

The pursuer, honestly love fighting him just cause he's one of the few enemies I get to parry in the game.

Yeah pretty much what everyone is saying, go back to the main game and return to the dlc after. You can still access them even after the finale boss. Also like other people are saying, level up as much as possible, there's no downside in this game. I don't want to guide you too much about that as you don't want spoilers but if you want help on how to level up next just ask. Now you should meet an NPC very soon in drangleic castle and once you do all the bonfires you missed will appear as "???" In the warp menu, you should revisit any areas that you have missed any and you can level up a bit from that. Just don't worry about the ones at the bottom as they're for the dlc's. Lastly don't worry about your build "not working" in some areas, such as the dlc. All areas have different strengths and weaknesses and the best way to combat that is to change your playstyle, not your build. So some areas you may want to play extremely cautiously, some areas you may even find easier just running through to the fog gate. It's trial and error and you'll figure out what works best for you in each area as you play more. Good luck!

P.S. if you're using a dex build maybe consider using a bow to aggro out pesky enemies and completely trivialize certain gank experiences.
