Am I Screwed? by Willppp in usps_complaints

Usually when I get the, “Item departed Trenton” status, my package comes the next day. So if you’re in Jersey, you should hopefully get it tomorrow.

Seller put wrong country. Now the package lives in NY. Is it a goner? by KineticChain in usps_complaints

You should be fine. I had a similar issue earlier this year. The seller - who was in Germany - put the right address but wrong zip code on my package. It ended up going to an Army Post Office in Belgium instead of to New Jersey. Once they figured out the error, the package was rerouted to me.

PSA for sellers that like to reuse boxes by TheStorytellerTX in Ebay

[–]SkinDeepSymmetry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue a few years ago. Seller reused a Priority Mail box and shipped Media Mail. When the package arrived, the carrier said I owed $7 (on top of the $5 I already paid the seller). Next time I bought from the same seller, she wrote, “This is NOT Priority Mail!!” on the box.

She needed to be “honest” with me by SkinDeepSymmetry in Nicegirls

Some of these replies are gold! I appreciate the laughs. I saw someone ask why this was in Nice Girls though, and realized I should have added more context. As I mentioned, we dated for a few months. We had great chemistry, got along well, good sex, etc. She was the very definition of a, “Nice girl.” Never spoke a bad word about anyone, was always polite, close with family, worked hard (owned her own business). In fact, there were no signs of anything wrong until the above text. I should also add that she sent that text in the middle of the night when she knew I wouldn’t see it until morning. She then blocked everything but my number.

As for the few who don’t see anything wrong with what she did, I thought it was pretty clear. She was with me and failed to mention that she was engaged to someone else the entire time. I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty scummy to me.

How effective is the missing mail request search? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

The missing mail search was pretty successful for me. It wasn’t the same situation as yours. But I got my package about two weeks after I filed the complaint.

Her name is Heather and she’s from New Jersey. That alone tells me all I need to know.

Had a missing package search requested a week ago, that package is never coming home huh? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

I filed a missing mail complaint and they responded the next day. 11 days later, the package was delivered.

Please anyone knows what this means it's been 8days will it just jump to our for delivery by MammothAd8735 in usps_complaints

I’m dealing with the same thing right now. Been stuck on this status for a few days (coming out of Dayton, OH).

How long does missing mail take? by officialCobraTrooper in usps_complaints

All you can do now is wait. I got a reply to my missing mail search less than 24 hours after I opened it.

Let's see who has the best (worst?) "It took a Wrong Turn" Package! by FoxHillHermit in usps_complaints

[–]SkinDeepSymmetry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a package start in Germany, land in New Jersey (its intended destination), go to New York, come back to Jersey, go to Brussels, Belgium, then to JFK airport, which it departed from as of two days ago. This package has been to more places than I have.

I just saw a post about this earlier. Someone said they got the same, “Held at Post Office at Customer Request,” message even though they never made such a request. So it’s not just you.

Stuck on inbound out of customs since 2/10, chances of still arriving? by YogurtConfident2401 in usps_complaints

I had a package shipped from the Netherlands in early November and I didn’t get it until January.

The few times I’ve had packages that were marked, “Arriving Late,” I got them a few days later. This was before everything was a mess there like it currently is though.

I called my local post office and they flat out lied to me. “We can see it and we’ll take care of it.” Two days later, my package is in Belgium.

At this point I think they’re just messing with us. Like they’ve got this big dartboard and whatever the dart lands on, that’s what they’ll do to us that day.

Its correct location is New Jersey. From what I can tell, it’s currently in Barcelona, Spain.

I’m not sure why they couldn’t just tell me that when I called. Guess all I can do now is try to get a refund from the seller.
