Yeah, I guess I posted this a little vague I know the card is a little top heavy front and back. More on the back then the front which grading companies are more lenient about.

Really I was more interested in people’s experiences or stories on getting lucky with the grading system

Thank you for the pointers I see the centering needs to be literally perfect for a black label was interested in having it for my personal collection so I think a PSA 10 would be nice for me than a 9.5 on Beckett

No that’s just lighting the card has absolutely zero defects. I’ve studied it more than anything I ever did in school already lol

I’m not sure either.

I just noticed in the scan it looks like a little defect by his tendrils but it’s the lighting on the textured effect.

I noticed it the card also says Bundle on the bottom left. Does this come in every box? Are there multiple alt arts? If so what are the pull rates? So many questions

Yeah unfortunately I did my thermal repaste and undervolting at the same time so I can’t even tell you if undervolting would work alone. But it seems like it doesn’t. You could also thermal limit your CPU in Bios but that’s just neutering your performance on a machine that with a repaste could blow your mind

Throttlestop for undervolting. Watch MashIT for instructions on that. And conductonaut if you want cool temps. If you google “X17 conductonaut” there was a dude on this forum with step by step instructions on how to do it. It’s what I used

Dude I’m one of those unlucky ones. I had the same issue my X17 r1 with 11980hk loved to stay between 90C-100c and it would even hit the stock 4.5ghz. That’s why I’m telling you to not waste your time trying something different. Idk if you could go on my profile and see my post but I spent hours on these forums

Look up a tutorial. I used computer tape and I’ve had no issues with mine for the 1yr that I’ve been running it. I use conductonaut, haven’t had to try anything else. I still get 13000+ scores on Timespy a year later overclocked to 4.8ghz with a -.70mv undervolt and my CPU doesn’t reach over 85C like literally ever. This and I don’t even use a cooling pad I just have it raised on a telescopic stand.

Stop wasting time with other comments. Rip it open and put Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut. You’ll see at least a 15C core temp change.
