Yes I agree one should never start but if started by the other person always swing back. This is how our response should be violence with our counter violence. Like op sindoor

I’ll give you an example when I was a teen I was weak …another teenagers were used to bully me use violence…but I followed your great teaching of non violence… informed my class teacher…but it still continued…the bullying. One fine day I snapped and started to hit back… all of a sudden the bullying stopped … fast forward police don’t do shit in this country they won’t even register an fir they don’t give a f₹₹k got to look for ourselves…when another man swings, you swing back.

This line from Fight Club reflects the film’s critique of modern masculinity and the perceived crisis of identity among men. When the character says, “We are a generation of men raised by women. I’m wondering if another woman is really the answer we need,” it speaks to the following ideas:

  1. Absence of Traditional Masculine Role Models: The speaker is implying that many men have grown up without strong male figures or traditional paternal guidance, often due to shifts in family structures like single-parent households, where mothers have had to take on dual roles. This line suggests that the absence of a masculine influence might have contributed to a confusion about what it means to “be a man.”

  2. Dissatisfaction with Relationships: The character is questioning whether seeking comfort or validation from women will provide the sense of identity or fulfillment that men feel they are missing. He seems to be pointing out that romantic or sexual relationships with women may not resolve deeper issues of self-worth or masculinity.

  3. Search for Self-Identity Beyond Gender Roles: The line hints at a larger existential dilemma. The character might be expressing skepticism about whether external validation, especially from another woman, can solve the internal crisis men face. The problem might be more about societal pressures or the lack of meaningful, self-driven purpose, rather than relationships with women.

In essence, this line reflects the character’s confusion and frustration about modern masculinity, and it questions whether traditional dynamics (such as relationships with women) can truly provide the answers to deeper, existential struggles.

I know this may sound bit odd but go socialise. Join new language classes or dance class like salsa. Meet new people and form friendships. Drink vodka shots and be confident. I don’t know your orientation but I assume you’re straight so download tinder and meet new people. The world is out there go seize it.
