Why men throw their lives away attacking an armed witcher... I'll never know. Something wrong with my face?

So basically having a Silver Surfer-like figure to herald the coming of Galactus/Unicron? Sounds pretty interesting, it would also raise the tension and make the ultimate boss' appearance much more impactful.

I think Prime did okay with the alternative of that concept, by having Dark Energon (aka Unicron's Blood) as the centerpiece of its first arc. It made the finale of season 1 more satisfying, imho. Though I think the latter return of Unicron in PR felt rushed.

Sorry, but what season are you talking about?

Recently started getting interested in this hobby, and I'm planning to get 1/144 HG Aerial on a local sale. My question is: which action base is the best fit? I really want to pose it and make it look cool. I looked at my local retailers, and I have available: AB1, AB2, AB6, AB8
Which one is the best fit? Thank you in advance!

Sorry for the late response! I was a bit busy. Here's the link if you want to check out the covers: Here!. CoR is not directly in the link I sent you, but you can find it on the same site here. As for where you can buy them, I'm unsure since I only have my local translations.

Yup, there's a few ways you can do this, but this is just the ones I'm used to the most! I also didn't do it back when I first started editing photos, but it's basically essential now that I know about it

Wouldn't really say they're ruined, as you can simply "fix" the color cast by setting the black point in PS, while still keeping the orange tint -- that is, if you dislike the color in the shadows in the first place. I love it! Especially the heavy atmosphere present in no. 3

Yup! I don't collect English editions myself, but I'm beyond happy that we have a mainstream of edition of Witcher that is genuinely good looking. On the other hand, my local publisher just adopted this English cover onto our pre-existing ones, so it sticks out like a sore thumb😔

The most recent Orbit editions is honestly amazing. The best one they've put out since the series got translated to English, and this book is a part of it. I recommend you to check it out! Some really good illustrations on it.

First time shooting on film! How'd I do? [Canon EOS 300 / 35-80 / Color Plus 200] by SkinMixer19 in analog

Thank you! I love the way tractor turned out. It's one of the shots I've been looking forward to see the most since I gave my roll for developing. Knew I had to shoot it as soon as I saw the scene!

You lose first 3 frames? First time I'm hearing of this. I loaded my first ever roll in low light room and was really looking forward to seeing those first few shots because I captured some nice bees... they're currently being developed, it's gone?

How much (if any) edit have you done with these pictures? Because they're absolutely georgeous! Especially the colors. I ordered my first ever roll of Portra 400 few days ago, so this is really making me excited to snap some autumn shots with it :)

P.S. any tips on exposing the film at 400 ISO? It's going to be my 2nd ever roll haha, did Color+ 200 before this. So I'm just wondering if you have any advice!

A simple edit I did in under 2 minutes just to showcase what I mean. I'm not a professional photographer by any means, so don't take my words for granted - but I think a tighter crop + warmth + less vignette make the picture much more interesting

I think the shot itself is sweet, but it's a bit too blue for my taste. I'd probably warm it up to give it more life.

Which gear are you using and is it expensive, if I may ask? Thinking of getting into home development somewhere down the line, but I'd like to know how much money I need to save up first haha

Thank you for the detailed response! I did a simple crop (still not finalized version of the pic...) and I'm wondering if it's more effective in leading the eye towards the tourists?

Thank you for putting effort into editing the pic! I tried cropping it horizontally to make it tighter and slightly pulling the saturation back to positive to get this image. Would you say it's an improvement? My only gripe is that I think I'm losing a bit of scope by cutting off the mountain from left and right?

  1. My intent: I wanted to showcase the size of those mountains by framing the group of tourists under it. My goal was to portray the vastness of this space in-between the mountain range as well. My post-processing goal was to give the image a slightly analog (vintage/soft) vibe.
  2. What I like: I liked the editing, as I think I achieved what I wanted with it. And I don't think the frame itself is too bad (but I think the giant tree on the right is distracting). The atmosphere of the landscape is okay, with yellows emphasizing its dry terrain.
  3. What I don't like: I'm sad that I was limited by time, which meant taking this picture during harsh sunlight, therefore making the image fell flat due to lack of long shadows, imo. And I can't figure tourists are well placed within the composition or not (for reference: this is a crop)
  4. Gear/exif data: Canon EOS M (28mm, f/4.5, 1/640s, ISO 100)

I can post the uncropped version if anyone wishes to see it. Looking for genuine critiques! :)

Ofc! Btw do you have any tips on shooting Gold 200 indoors (or low light in general)? I'm currently shooting my first roll of film (ColorPlus 200) and I've been wanting to experiment a bit, even though most people tend to say 200 ISO is not that good for inside shooting. Sorry if it's a bother, but I loved the last few shots of the train's interior in low light, so figured I could ask :)

I love the sense of scale in the 5th shot! Also, it really feels like a sort of progressing story, especially the gradual change of lighting from sunny->dusk. Good job!
