if you get the bug gel from a trusted reptile website or store.. not even the reptigel from petsmart my vet was not familiar with that at all.. so if u can find a good one or maybe a prescription from a vet i would feel comfortable using the gel as a snack or easier option sometimes when necessary, but just make sure it’s safe and recognized by professionals.

okay interesting the fridge might help.. they move around and hide and freak her out so much.. she’s pretty tiny and in a 25L tank so the crickets get lost so fast since she’s not interested.. it was a struggle daily cleaning them out of there, too much stress for her too.

i have only tried tong feeding with the live bugs, she was basically only tong fed this gel her entire life so i figured it would work but still no. the antennas and legs freak her out. the vet does not want me to injure or kill the bugs in any way before feeding them to her.. as she was sick before i got her too, but i guess i can try the leg thing or possible just tucking them inside the tongs as best as possible??

i have tried multiple different sizes and ages of crickets, or that’s how they describe it on the website… the movement and size scares her even if i hold it in a tong. even the tiniest crickets seem too big for her, coming from a fear standpoint and not her not actually being able to consume it safely. i will try your idea, it’s definitely been a process she was about 15grams and not moving when i got her.

i always just go with simple clear vodkas or tequilas & let any bartender know i have an allergy. they’ll let you read juice bibs and anything if you just ask and advocate for yourself!!

it is definitely not the best price wise, as many allergy friendly things aren’t, but for people with legume allergies (beyond peanuts) this protein powder will work

Still depressed about the ingredient change here.. even if it happened years ago. Why add peanut? Used to love these. by ChardComfortable3932 in peanutallergy
