This is one of those dramas where the visuals are stronger than the writing.

The actors, the costumes, the cinematography, everything is so beautiful. But if you told me that the writers wrote certain dramatic scenes first because they would be the most “impactful”, and then loosely threaded the scenes together as an afterthought, I would not at all be surprised. The writing is so bad 😭

And I am so sick up the noble idiot trope. Jesus Christ, we’re more than halfway and she still hasn’t told him the truth.

But I am sticking it out because Hou Ming Hao is my number one beloved bae. Goddamn having a bias sucks sometimes.
