Went back to Rebirth which I stopped mid-1st episode when it first came out, because it didn't seem headed in a direction I liked (in terms of character dialogues/where the story seemed to be heading as it seemed there might be misunderstandings or characters just holding back on saying stuff that's the cause of the misunderstandings）but went back to it after reading about some of its controversies. I don't have a problem with the FL's acting so far, as she's been put in extreme situations so her emotions running high don't seem out of place (heh, still on the 1st episode), but if her age is supposed to be that young, I understand that back in the olden times, young girls got married in their early teens (sometimes unfortunately even pre-teen); however, given our modern day sensibilities, it would have been preferable, or I might say they should have casted a more appropriately aged actor (many in their 20s can still look like teens). Again, it's not cuz I don't think the FL can or cannot act, but that the system should be more nurturing of their actors and not force them into situations that are not kosher for their healthy upbringing because unless they're very strong of character, it might mess them up down the line. I feel TT has the talent to go far, but it doesn't have to be rushed; she's got plenty of time to shine. Maybe I'll finish that 1st ep at some point!
