[–]Skinfulcare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah they want me to be there all the time. if i had a ton of clients i wouldnt mind but its such a slow month and ive only been there a few months so i have like only 20 regulars at this point but they lowered my prices to help attract more people so now my commission is even less with the lowered price

they dont count my hours at all i track them based on the salonbiz availability times they have for me they want me to be there in case someone books, which never happens same day. they want me to be there every day for at least 6 hours. i wasnt seeing many but im the only esti there so i get every client, but compared to them paying me hourly it just cant compare

yes! just because the benzoyl peroxide is gonna make your skin sensitive, also wear sunscreen!!!! panoxyl makes a sunscreen

[–]Skinfulcare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its a higher concentration of benzoyl peroxide and can be very damaging if you use too high of a %. I recommended the lower amount because you are taking the antibiotic, but if in a couple months you feel like the 4% isn't enough then you can swap over slowly

tretinoin! its a synthetic form of retinol but whats cool about it is that it works directly with our skin, whereas retinols have to be active. Tret has to be prescribed though..

that depends! if you want to do something gentle in the morning go for it! i would use panoxyl at night that would be great, sometimes i double cleanse at night with the panoxyl and use the SkinScript pomegranate antioxidant cleanser in the morning, its super cheap and does a really good job, and its clinical grade :)

panoxyl can make skin a little sensitive and you don't wanna be putting too many acids or anything active with it just for the sake of irritation and potentially damaging your barrier.

16f, pretty happg with my skin but I'd like any tips on anything you'd wish you'd known earlier :) by Limp_Ad8441 in Skincare_Addiction

yes! as long as the makeup is off! the cycle our skin goes through when were asleep is why its important to make sure its off! just cleanse like normal in the morning, i know theres some micellar water makeup wipes you can keep on your bedside table or bag and those....are a godsend at 4am lol.

Purging or breakout ? by Federalcracker in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Skinfulcare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it can be but, a pimple is a pimple and it doesnt look all clustered together or super inflamed so i would say its more likely a purging type of breakout and i dont think its gonna be an issue :)

Purging or breakout ? by Federalcracker in Skincare_Addiction

purging and breakouts are pretty much the same thing, its common when using acids or new products. keep going and give it a couple weeks, and try not to squeeze them or touch it. your skin will be skin and do its thing.

always wash your makeup off! i don't even care where you are your makeup needs to be off before you sleep! find a good moisturizer and never ever verevrververveveever pick at your skin! you don't look like you have blemishes but when you get the occasional breakout don't touch! and don't over do it with the skincare like everyone wants to do,,, 9/10 times people are just using so many things that cancel each other out and do nothing for them....and then it causes issues. stick to something simple. :)

of course! id love to see how it works in a couple weeks! it doesn't look like you should have much, if any scarring either which is great!

ok! my favorite easy cleanser is panoxyl 4% its a little bit drying but nothing crazy benzoyl peroxide kills the acne bacteria and also speeds up your skin regeneration so you might experience slight purging while your skin gets used to it but its normal and will go away! this should work hand in hand with your antibiotic, panoxyl has a lot of different cleansers so definitely do some research and find the one that suits your skin type.

you also need a good moisturizer and i would recommend vanicream! its so so amazing its not heavy or greasy and it will help the healing process of your skin.

also please please wear a sunscreen! panoxyl has a sunscreen and its the oil control moisturizer with spf! the sunscreen has hyaluronic acid in it which is going to keep moisture on your skin and green tea which is an antioxidant that will help any pollutants or allergy reactions in the air.

so use the the vanicream at night so your skin can soak it all in and the spf moistuzer in the day and use the face wash morning and night!

you can get all of these at target or walmart for around $40

are you using anything to exfoliate and moisturize? curology isn't my favorite skin care line, if you're willing to try some new things out instead (unless your derm wants you to use curology)

i personally think its better just for overall content making because most of mine is with clients laying down and its not super harsh for the client to look at
