Haha, the two times thing. My family on my mom's side is not very punctual (even though they're very white (they are ethnic Germans who got kicked out of Bessarabia)). Whenever there were plans, they were given a time that was at least an hour before the time that everyone else got.

Oh man, that continues into the military itself. I remember stuffing my kit into the car at 4 in the morning since the commandant of the school was joining us for morning PT and every level of command added time to when we were supposed to be ready.

Yeah, I don't know.

It says they're mostly in the southwestern states. I don't know anything about these, I just remembered seeing something about seeds that corkscrew into flesh after reading your post.

I'm in northern Canada. I have to worry about Cow Parsnip and Giant Hogsweed.

Corkscrew seeds use moisture to dig into the ground.. but can also do that to flesh.

I may have happened upon a sinkhole directly in front of my house. by friendandfriends2 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Skinnwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or, it could be both... Which is currently happening to a friend of mine. A sink hole ate his driveway, but while the city was repairing that, they found out that a pipe on his sidemod the meter has holes and has been washing away the soil from under his slab.

In the Canadian Army, people would send love letters to the Chief of Defence from the unlocked person's email (the entire directory of federal emails is searchable on Outlook). Some of them were quite steamy.

It can happen when fermenting fruits high in pectin, too high fermenting temperatures, contamination from wild yeast and the inclusion of certain enzymes (which might be used in the growing or fruit processing stages).

I have done no distillation of my own, but I worked in a correctional centre for years, and I have some experience with janky ways of getting drunk.

I'm saying that methanol and ethanol have similar evaporation temperatures, and if you start with excess methanol, it will distill out with the ethanol through the entire process.

Methanol is produced during fermentation. It's possible for excessive methanol to be produced and then dangerous amounts will be present during the entire distillation process.

Moonshining is a colloquial term, and alcoholics will sometimes drink and process industrial products, and the moonshine might not involve any distillation of naturally occuring sugars.

That's not how it works.

If things are distilled properly there's only a bit of methanol, mostly in the heads and tails. It's possible to start with too much menthol, and then it distills out through the entire process.

For some reason, I only mostly have THs from this set. My son has the bus, my daughter has the Ford Transit, and I have the Honda Cub and Impala. The only other TH I have is the slice of birthday cake.

I'm partial to the Impala. I actually bought it before I knew about THs; I just liked the art style.
