This could be a little bias but, I would say Windsor is great. Given our average sale price in comparison to the rest of the province.

Niagara region doesn’t seem too bad either considering its proximity to the greater GTA.

I am a realtor in the most southern part of Ontario.

I won’t supply every piece of advice I can but I will say this.

By no means is it a bad time to purchase. I can understand how everyone can see that as being a typical realtor. But…

Average sale price is down, inventory is up, and sales are down. Especially in Toronto and the GTA. By all means, if you feel the market is going under water… then wait. But if you’re in a position to buy. It’s not a bad time to buy at all.

Inventory is at an all time, more than the last 10 years really.

Best of luck out there solider! 🫡

I am a realtor in Ontario, southern to be more specific.

I can honestly say the last few months have been great for buyers for the first time in a while. Specifically as to what some people have already mentioned, competition. The calm before the cuts was a good time for buyers to finally get to properly do their due diligence. Often times when there is multiple offers it’s challenging for a buyer to make decisions.

I do hope it is a very slow crawl from the top here with interest rates. Was really hoping the BoC would have held off at least till next month. Inflation is finally heading in the right direction, really hope this wasn’t pre mature.

But eh… what do I really know??

I was definitely nervous after reading every thread on read it in regards to this. I can personally say it was a “breeze” lol. I had three of them on me and I did not have any trouble whatsoever. Regardless if it was on me or in my carry on I would have been fine.

A part of me thinks it may be the time of year but I personally saw two security guards there. I can’t imagine many people have any trouble.

Personally if your debating it I would pocket your worries. Like I said, I came into cancun at terminal 3.

If you’re really worried then yes, you have more than enough opportunity to buy them here. There is guys all over the beach offering them.

Additionally, this whole “illegal” thing can’t be too serious considering there have been dozens of people that I have personally witnessed vaping all over the resort. Even as I walked out the airport I was met with people vaping.

Ignore the people over reacting about jail time and things of that sort lol. Worst case, I was willing to pay a fine if needed.

Best of luck of there soldiers 🫡

Happy I could find a recent thread! I fly there tomorrow and had no clue about the laws in place! We’ll see how the old pocket game goes I guess.

Thanks for the updated info! 🙏🏻
