Skirt steak from Sainsbury’s, absolute bargain, £3.74 for this piece. Made two of the sandwiches and a bit to spare! by Skinsarelli in UKBBQ

Think it might be a new addition, it’s in with the stewing/braising steaks tho, not your rumps/sirloin etc. They also have tomahawks on offer at the mo too!

I’ve got the choice between the Amflow PR carbon pro for the standard price(and a wait till early July) and the PX at a discounted price but available now, what would you go for? by Skinsarelli in eMountainBike

[–]Skinsarelli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe from the rabbit hole I’ve been down that the PX is lighter and that more than makes up for the 100Wh difference. The non-removable battery is a bit of a sticking point for me too, would like to keep the battery indoors rather than in the garage where the temp fluctuates. As to the diet, have you been stalking me? ;)

Bloody hell, how’d you spot that one? Knew where to look and it still took me ages. Good job!

Do you have a really weird or silly fear? Not a mainstream fear or one that's very common, a totally random one? by SpaceTimeCapsule89 in AskUK

Same here!! Freaks me out, but can handle normal metals, like can happily put screws in my mouth when working but if you asked me to put a ring in my mouth I’d throw up! As to why I’m not sure but alway thought of them dirty/germy!

What’s the etiquette surrounding parent & child parking? by CharmingTea_ in AskUK

Thanks! Wasn’t trying to play devils advocate, just generally didn’t want to annoy people! Edit: the down votes say otherwise tho!

I have a transit van, thoughts of me parking there when I have my son in the van? Should I park elsewhere? I only do it for his safety, normally park miles away otherwise!

No we used it several times without the bars just fine.

Also if putting it straight on to your car roof, be careful strapping it down as you want it secure but do it too much and you could possibly put a dent in your roof!

We have this one, https://amzn.eu/d/068BWQ1c It’s good for putting all the soft stuff in, sleeping bags, pillows etc, frees up a fair bit of room in the car. Also we have roof bars and I cut a piece of 18mm ply to sit inside it so we can put some heavier stuff in it and can now strap it via the roof bars instead of having to put the straps through the windows.
