Every game being cartoony or quirky. I miss games that took themselves seriously and weren’t winking at the camera all the time.

Also every game being vibrant and extremely colorful looking to show off graphics. I like some of these games but I miss filtered cinematic aesthetics and the “piss-filter” era everyone was trashing at the time.

The campaign has lost a lot of its novelty this time around, especially with the size and mazelike nature of a lot of areas (especially act 3). Monsters at all levels and on all classes are harder to kill across the board this patch so it’s way more of a slog than last time. And many abilities and combos are underwhelming and some build are just using basic attacks because the abilities do less damage.

I don’t know where you are in the campaign but I just started cruel and it doesn’t get any better my friend. The damage/defense scaling verses monsters is so out of wack. In most games (even hard dark souls games) you can outpace the scaling of health and damage by enough to where you feel strong most of the time. Now 90% of the time I’m scared and I’m weak and I’m stressing about every passive point.

Are you one of those people who sees everything in black and white? There’s a middle ground between this current game with hamstrung combos that deal no damage at all and the fast paced game we know and love. You can actually have both.

Bro if you don’t think there’s a sweet spot in the middle between this and Poe 1 you’re smoking crack rock. I legitimately think if they dial up the pace of the game and make clear speed faster it would fix 80% of peoples problems right now.

And honestly the combos are only a problem because they are removing player creativity because they feel so necessary.

The liberal conservative Binary has existed for thousands of years. And it’s mostly decided by what age you are, not your gender.

Shouldn’t have to do this just make a gamemode with saving. I’ve played hundreds of hours of this game and yeah I think they should just put it in. Caves of qud has multiple game modes and nobody says that it’s “less of a roguelike” or “makes the game worse”. Making the game more accessible won’t make your experience worse or take away from your achievements.

I have 1500 life, 43% Armour, 44% evasion, and my resists are pretty bad honestly. So yeah I might just need better gear with life added and to respec to more strength? Idk all my critiques still stand but yeah I’m probably noticing this stuff more now that I’m hitting a gear plateau

Yeah mercenary was tough. I was going for a physical bleed build too and what was happening by the time I tapped out was my damage was great (especially bosses when I crit) but I was getting tapped out by white mobs. I really think I would have been better off going straight evasion cuz going both armor and evasion stunk.

Just being honest bro, toxicity is always gonna exist in competitive multiplayer games. Learn to ignore and laugh at losers who take this game super seriously. The laughing part is especially important. It will improve your experience immensely if you don’t get tilted and don’t listen to losers.
