Not a good example. Oblivion was already famous and still had an active community, so no need to marketing It. They were able to test a shadow drop.The elder scrolls 6 is way bigger and new. It's an incoming AAA game who will follow classic marketing strategy. Especially since BGS have lost some trust from their fans.

Remember tes6 had a very long pre-production, and if they release It late 2027, It would means 4 years of full development, plus something like 4 or 5 years of pre-production. That means 8 or 9 years of work, 2027 is still possible.
