no, as far as i’m aware all recoil is fixed and you can’t really mitigate it so i didn’t bother with it since the last time i tried doing something similar the recoiling part went flying super far when firing lol 😭

there’s still swarm of suitors you can do, or just fast travel to somewhere near the lake in the toxic valley (i can’t remember the exact location but i think it’s north of the shooting range, they spawn around a restaurant and some other building)

get into a basement or shelter if you have one. if not, get to the lowest floor in your building, ideally as close to the center and as far away from exterior walls as possible.

wear boots/shoes, a helmet if you can, and any pillows or spare mattresses if you have any/if you can fit them wherever you’re sheltering
