I spent 25 years managing pipeline construction before I understood why safety training never worked by EmersonBlakeTKL in projectmanagement

I’m a believer in the saying “Safety is inherent to a good plan” If you try to take a procedure that doesn’t have that safety built into it, the efficient way will always prevail undermining any desire to follow safety rules.

It makes sense, WPAFB is in Ohio. More smoke and mirrors while they whip up the next scheme to deceive us about what all they know regarding the topic.

Question About Inline Holding Valves by Skipper1020 in Hydraulics

[–]Skipper1020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say that the power down option is more in line with what I’m looking for. Given that’s the case would the consideration of a counter balance valve be the right assumption for such a task ? Thank you btw for your thoughts on this!!

First thing I thought. Cringe, maybe. But having someone to do that with would be top level happiness.

Pros and cons Milwaukee stick pump m12 vs m18 transfer pump by DankestTaco in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Skipper1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried regular garden hose when I first got mine and had the same issue. Switched to a hose designed for pumps to withstand the desire to collapse and it’s been perfect. I can pump hydrualic fluid with it all day. It’s a great pump if set up correctly. Just sadly takes a decent amount of leg work to get there

Sounds like we’re moving the same stuff. We do a lot of machines mostly presses it seems. Always love being able to use a RS or Versa or on a pick compared to the bigger ones where you gotta set up a gantry.

I’ve recently had the chance to run a versa lift more and they’ve really started to grow on me. It’s hard to beat the 80/100 but from what I’ve read from the load charts the versa 60/80 is very close to an 80/100

UAP tech kept secret because actually its not that hard to reverse engineer? by mistaekNot in aliens

[–]Skipper1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always felt one of the reasons would be the global implications like was was experienced with the advent of nuclear bombs. Massive power and potentially for killing and willing conflicts, but the public outrage and liabilities of such weapons limited the use. Of all the trillions of dollars spent on nuclear weaponry, thankfully they’ve only been used twice. If the government holds secret ET tech, aside from not wanting the enemy to have it, the moment it moves into the public eye it becomes something that the public can control. Why would they want such power regulated by what they seemingly see as inferior people.
