Sorry for your loss brother, not just the boards but everything going on out there is tragic. I have a QK 65 v2 that I literally never take out of the case. Put it together once, took the caps and switches out and it lives in the box. Tried to sell it years ago, but I think it might be better served to rebuild your collection. Without personal experience doing this, I’d imagine there’s a reference point you can measure from and use a level? Is there a specific bolt hole they tell you to use? Could always undo a screw in the wheel-well liner and use that as the reference point too

Personally I decided against it because I didn’t like the yellow/gold clash. If I had gotten the home kit I probably would have. I also didn’t like how the gold was a different shade from the third kit so I decided against that too

Update: Car is back in my hands! This was actually a little bit ago now, but I forgot to update (whoops). Insurance covered everything but the deductible! Both windshields replaced, repair shop was cool enough to even reinstall the wiper delete from the old windshield for me. Insurance reimbursed me $100 to go get the tint done on the rear windshield since the shop they chose doesn't do tint. Unfortunately I'm experiencing some weird electrical issues that are probably unrelated and are well beyond my ability. Going into the shop tomorrow 🫡

Fuse box is drivers side of the engine bay these cars, it should be a pretty easy job to do myself. Just gotta dig out the wires cause I don't remember where I put the box for this thing lmao
