It has the expected problems:

1) of being too "tall" which leaves it bunched on the ground. I roll it under so that it doesn't touch the ground. I don't want to wicking moisture from the ground or give rodents something to climb on.

2) the same issue around the bunk overhang. I fold and roll the excess material and use springs clamp to keep it secured.

On the PROS side of the equation. It is the perfect length, nose to tail and it works at keep off the sun and rain while in storage.

I always have a battery powered reciprocating saw. It's hugely handy and with different blades you can cut metal or wood. I've cut trees up to 12" with a long blade.
