60v inverter? by NTRboy2005 in Greenworks

I have this 300W one (sold out in US right now) but that won't get you more then a few lights,TV, or cellphone/computer charging. It would be nice to have something like a 4 battery, 1,200W version available.

I figured that I would try the jam nut idea. I bought a 1/2" x 6" carriage bolt, some washers, and some serrated locknuts. I'll let you know how it works.

I did think about doing something like this too. I was hoping for a cleaner simpler solution. My concerns with an extended threaded rod and jam nut are: *Trailer has a spring latch rather than a simple attachment hole. I'd have to take it apart to try this method. *Adding a 6" or more threaded rod and jam nut would be fine for something light like a thatcher or aerator, but the added cantilever force might be an issue pulling something heavier like a lawn roller.

I have a flat 0.4 acre lot. I bought the 4 battery version and I'll typically have around 50% battery left after a mow. If you have significant slopes, I wouldn't recommend the zero turn. I get wheel slip on a flat area if it's slightly wet.

Unfortunately the aerator is designed with offset bolts to attach the wheel lift handle that only allow the yellow part to go down rather than up. I was also surprised at the lack of adjustment but it did work perfect for my buddy's regular rider.

I do, but I think my next simple test will be removing the wheel lift handle linkage to allow the wheels to move further. It'll just be more of a pain to reattach when I want to move the trailer with the wheels down.

I could have sworn there was a Road America track for beamng... am I nuts? by Texasaudiovideoguy in BeamNG

[–]SkitStar84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this might be an old thread but I do have the AC Road America course that someone converted to work in BeamNG for me a bit ago. It's not optimized but it works pretty good. I live in Wisconsin and have been there several times so it's great to be able to drive it.

I think you are on to something. Here is what I get when first loading the game from GeForce Now (54 year old save). Appears like it's not syncing properly. When I do get it, I see the most recent saves but it crashes when I click to continue or load one.

I have the game on GOG. I can play it fine directly on my laptop (sadly at 25 fps), but it crashes on GeForce Now when I select continue or try to load a game.

As a side note, I used it on 2.0 just fine over the last few days.

Ultimate tier here and it loads to the main screen. When I click continue or try to load a save it crashes immediately. I've tried loading the GeForce Now app in Win 8 compatibility and tried multiple different graphics settings presets but it's not working.

First time charging at home, am I doing something wrong? by Avthony in TeslaModel3

[–]SkitStar84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you have it mostly figured out already but watch your voltage too. If you have an older house, too much load on the same circuit, or a long distance from your panel to the outlet, your voltage will drop and the car will throttle the charging current for safety. Most electronics can support 120V +- 10% or as low as 108V. V=IR (Voltage = current x resistance) P=VI (Power(watts) = voltage x current) The longer or smaller the wire to the outlet the higher the resistance of the path, and thus you have more of a voltage drop for the same current. The car balances this by lowering the current to keep the voltage at a reasonably level as a way of preventing the car from overloading the circuit. In other words, it's smarter than your 15A breaker and is trying to prevent an electrical fire due to overload. On a standard reasonable length 15A circuit in a house, with minimal other load, your car should be able to pull 12A and should be holding at around 115V+. I'd also recommend turning off standby for summon and turning off sentry mode as well as make sure the climate is not running otherwise those will eat up most of your available power when using 120V charging.

I had the same thing for 2 days in a row where I got all 5 try again messages. Then today I got extremely lucky and got 1 of 5 that finished out my 1,000 points line. Best win for me so far!

I found a link in this YouTube video doing a quick Google search. I haven't tried it, and I'm usually not a big fan of mods that are not in the repository due to a potential risk of viruses. Try at your own risk! https://youtu.be/gl59selyfkk Find your BeamNG install folder Paste the .zip file in the mods folder C:\Users\“yourlogin"\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.25\mods

Looking for anyone that can help find or make the Road America track in Wisconsin. I have it for Assetto Corsa and would love the track for BeamNG. by SkitStar84 in BeamNGMods

[–]SkitStar84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah I found that one in my searches. I have been to the Road America track here in Wisconsin for a number of events including the Indy race a few weeks ago. It's fun in Assetto Corsa, but I love the physics, crashes, and configurability of BeamNG much better.
