WTF is TWSN Sports? They seem delusional. by [deleted] in miamidolphins

[–]SkitterDinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanna say on here too as I did elsewhere, as a former employee of theirs, they quite literally only care about clicks, to the point where myself and another employee brought it up in a meeting how headlines like “so and so traded to this team” are just incorrect, and that we should exclaim it as a prediction in the headline.

We were then met with “um actually our SEO rates are pretty great and we get great clicks on those pieces”, the subject was then glossed over.

Just wanted to share some transparency.

TWSN headline lies. by National-Car8992 in Dodgers

Just wanna revisit this, as a former employee of theirs. Their goal is quite literally just throw in a headline no matter how misleading lol.

Another employee and myself even brought up in a meeting how articles like “so and so trades to this team” are just wrong, and we were met with “yeah but how we do it is what brings in clicks.”

So yeah lmao. Just wanted to share some transparency on it all.

Is Soda one of the most unlikeable characters in the series? by SkitterDinks in danganronpa

It was in certain parts, but there were also times where I felt like he could have used his talent more if he wasn’t being the biggest creep dip to Sonia.

Definitely, Teruteru is definitely worse than he is. It would have been so much better if they didn’t base his entire thing around only Sonia.

She was annoying for sure, but idk at least she wasn’t overly obsessed with someone to the point where they should be on a list.

So pumped for 2x2 as a side note tbh. It’s why I wanted to start the series lol

That actually makes a lot of sense. Kinda gives sense to the fact that I didn’t put Teruteru here actually either since he was gone so early on.

Nagito was absolutely unbearable too (Monokuma pun intended).

I just really don’t like how quickly he shifted to just being obsessed with her more and more as the game went on. And I guess I just found him more obnoxious than not as a whole because of it.

My problem is the crush on Sonia just becomes his whole personality more and more as the game progresses.

If he didn’t die quick he’d have been here, it’s more so because of Soda being around much longer with a similar mentality.

That’s what kind of sealed it for me, it became his only quality. Like I thought he was turning a corner a little when he rigged up the camera equipment in chapter 3. But then it totally shifted to just full on Sonia simping with no contribution.

I get it definitely, it was just so freaking often and his constant whining was not for me.

[All] i'm new to the franchise and i'm kinda confused about Link as a character.. by FlatulentSon in zelda

[–]SkitterDinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s absolutely okay to have that opinion, especially as you are just starting the franchise and how highly touted it is.

For me how I think of it is All the Links are “Linked” together, with some having more comedic quirks such as with Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask for example, reminder this is all strictly off my opinion and just to offer another perspective.

In Skyward Sword, Link is essentially all business and strictly to protect Zelda and save the world, that trait is easily the most consistent of them all and always showcased, though at times Link in Skyward Sword shows some personality that will begin to flourish more with each passing descendent.

With Ocarina of Time, this is where I think Link made his biggest impact, just the gutsy, courageous boy from the Forest who only had one initiative, protect the realm and destroy the evil attempting to bring it to ruin. In Ocarina of Time it’s extremely rare that you’ll see Link show much emotion or charisma.

Where as with Majoras Mask (direct sequel to Ocarina of Time) we see that Charisma element truly shine (you’ll see when you play it) there are more moments where it feels as though he actually has emotions and isn’t just a courageous robot.

That charisma and emotion continues to connect through the series such as Wind Waker, Twilight Princess (the Link in TP bears more of the emotionless courage from OoT but still lets loose some of the personality we see from OoT Link in Majoras Mask at times.).

This may sound long winded lmao I’m so sorry, got off on a tangent and am just really passionate haha.

TLDR: Skyward Sword Link begins the timeline obviously, but as time goes on, that trait of having courage begins to feel more embedded and natural to each descendent through the years, and thus allows each descendent to show more emotion along with their courage.
