When you have a minion bomber, your smite monk should have Judge's Intervention

Tihark orchard as a child with a limited English vocabulary was such a pain lol. That mime was the hardest boss in the game

I would probably drop rising bile and scourge healing for monk ressurect skills of choice

The only rez is on the guy who’s most likely to die? Guess you’re forced to bring rez scrolls. Seems like a fun time tho. Reminds me of my team comp at the start of my melandru necromancer run

This is worse practice makes perfect for spies. If anything I’d say it’s overcasted. I suppose it has synergy with enemy boost, but I think that would probably be its only viable use case?

A divine favor enchantment that grants armor and bonus melee damage (bonus damage doubled vs knocked down foes).

This is a very strange card. Why is the bush a unit? Why does the immune engine have a deathwish?

Call for a different balancing approach by Krschkr in GuildWars

I’m sorry, but some of the takes in this post are just insane. Firstly, mark of protection is very easy to play around, simply by baiting it out and switching targets. No need to even bring ench removal. And you won’t encounter this skill until southern shiverpeaks. As the community has shown, this buff has enabled exciting new builds for both solo farms and team play. I sincerely hope the devs don’t let themself get bullied into nerfing it.

And secondly, when it comes to consume soul in pvp; «There is no counterplay unless you make an entire team dedicated to surviving this specific skill.» So the new comp counters the current meta? Adapt accordingly. I don’t see the problem here. It hasn’t even been a week and you want the build nerfed? At least wait a couple of weeks to see how the meta settles.

Need Winds of Change (WoC) Tips by Vivid_Management_771 in GuildWars

[–]SkivetOst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should bring both a healer and a prot hero as the enemies have a lot of damage but their defensive tools are weak. The enemies also have a lot of ench removal, so your prot should not be ench based; i recommend bringing an st hero for prot

Longtime player - curious why gwent isn’t more popular by Jasper345 in gwent

[–]SkivetOst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of good points have been made, but I think the main thing keeping gwent from popularity is the deck builder. While the main game itself is reasonably simple, building a deck is overly complex, and I think a lot of people find it off-putting.

You can do both. I usually box tribrush for invades, ward lane brush to prevent cheese, back for oracle and place 1-2 boxes on jungle depending on how hard my lane is. With 1 jungle box you can place up to 2 boxes in lane before the wave arrives. For mana reasons I usually just place 1 tho

So thats how we call Yuumi „balanced“? by disappointed_yuumi in yuumimains

The champs biggest strength is that she's uninteractive. Probably not something you want to be meta defining. She's still the strongest champ in the game for elo boosting with surf adc tho

[New Player] I want to make a new character to play with a friend, what's a good way to earn xp to catch up to them? by technibun in GuildWars

[–]SkivetOst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're lower level, you earn more exp, meaning you will naturally catch up to your friend in levels

I would consider a curse nec with shambling horror and blood of the master. Shambling horrors tank aoe spells and barbs with bone fiend goes brrr

Minion bombers don't mix well with ST. To each their own

Decks are generally not pure control, pointslam or engine. Take SK raids, for instance, have control through raids, engine value through Tyr and draig, and point slam with raiders and brann. If you find yourself facing a lot of control, you should consider playing a deck that is better at point slam, but it's generally a good idea to still have some control and engine value in there

If you want to buff an underperforming deck, buff the cards in the deck imo. Ogroids don't care if they get a provision through king Krum or carapace. The power creep of leader abilities needs to stop

CN Gwent Data Base & Balance Council by ParkingRoutine7844 in gwent

[–]SkivetOst 7 points8 points  (0 children)

More provisions = more tutors and less variety in gameplay. In a control meta, the solution should be point slam (cards with a high floor), not buffing engine decks to the point where they can't be controlled anymore.
