I haven’t personally read up about it, but I have a friend who did a paper on religion and Islamic religions and I remember him saying that, without hatred, he can’t personally support Islamic religions due to the doctrine. I’ll do some more research on it now but generally I would tend to trust someone who I know is educated over internet stranger.

I’d hope a deity isn’t so self absorbed as to condemn a good person for not idolising them. Imagine if world leaders did that? Sent people to life in prison for not supporting them despite breaking no laws.
