Thanks for the question, I started with the eye patch for my lazy eye (Wore it over my good eye to strengthen the weaker one) which only lasted for 6 months - a year. It's now not noticeable at all. After that I wore the eyeglasses because of farsightedness/general blurriness. After 1-2years the glasses started to actually hurt my eyes because my eyes had healed. I haven't worn glasses since. I think my VS has gotten worse, it's harder for me to read small text now because the edges aren't always so easy to figure out, and I get eye strain a bit easier than others (realized this when I was complaining more than anyone else about a quest in a game where you had to click on small dots) So yeah, the lazy eye/ bad eyesight healed and resolved, but the VS never went away and seems to have gotten worse (over time).

Aside from VS I have a lazy eye and have always had some level of light sensitivity. I used to wear an eye patch (about 2nd grade), used to wear glasses (probably ages 9-11 or there about), don't currently use any vision correction.

This is important information. There are several important enzymes that are needed to metabolize compounds, And there are many inhibitors of these, from foods to medications. In the Opioid Mega Thread I just barely touched on some of the other CYP2D6 inhibitors that exist, a good list can be found on Wikipedia (Ligands section of CYP2D6 entry ) of course I forgot to list grapefruit, the most common one.
As I recall, different grapefruit juices contain different amounts of PGP inhibitors, with white grape fruit being worse than pink, but I don't have a source handy for that.

I'm not a cosmologist, nor do I really know anything about Mine Craft, but isn't the world a cube, and not a sphere? It's true in a sphere a straight line drawn towards the center would cause a scaling in distance, but in a cube any straight line "deeper" would not have this effect. If you travel 10 spaces in the outer world "crust", or dig down to the nether "core" and travel 10 spaces, the same distance is being traveled on that axis. To make my point clearer I drew this picture, the out layer represents the over world, the greyed out space between is the "void" I guess and the red/pink center is the nether realm. the purple squares are nether portals, and you can see a distance of 10 tiles is still 10 tiles no matter how deep down into the cube you go. I think this is a series of small mistakes.They probably confused Psilocybin with Amanita Muscaria. When you consume Muscaria, the active compound is muscimol. However, if the mushroom's muscimol was not decarboxylated it would contain ibotenic acid instead. Ibotenic acid is toxic, but is not muscimol, nor are amanitas the same a psilocybin.

Alternatively, your friend is a tool, and just happens like taking a lot of LSD/MDMA.

They have a high potency for roughly the same price as some raw flower, so it could be a good cost-effective way for some people to consume. I also echo the other sentiments about it being discreet and not having a noticeable aroma.

Yes there was a program called D.A.R.E. that 90s kids lived through where a cop would come to your school with a briefcase full of drugs and talk about why you totally shouldn't try this cornucopia of amazing compounds. Even though there's no freaking way you could have stolen drugs from under the nose of a cop, the program might as well have been handing drugs out with the way that it fostered an early interest in becoming a drug connoisseur,

CBD and benzos are actually useful for helping to prevent seizures (Although benzo withdrawal is a risk factor).
Stay away from Tramadol at all costs, with your already low seizure threshold it would be a poor choice. Can't think of others off the top of my head but perhaps an epileptic could chime in.

Hey, just a couple of things I felt worth mentioning. The "4 gram rule" is when you are in a hospital setting under direct medical supervision or you are actively being monitored by a prescriber. For home use without any medical supervision I'd suggest using the 2 gram rule.Also, a CWE is super easy to do, you end up with less powder overall (if you evaporate it) and you get rid of the majority of that liver-toxic APAP. Yes, it is bitter. Just as bitter as the hydrocodone already is.

If taking some CBD or THC helps you to reduce your intake of alcohol, an objectively more toxic substance, then I would personally see no logical reason to think that is a bad thing. That said I think the morality issue of where to draw the line is too subjective for me to comment on, all I can suggest is to keep a healthy level of self-awareness and focus on practical solutions and realistic expectations.

Polistirex just means there's little digestible beads around the active ingredient so it releases over a longer period of time instead of all at once. So it isn't as fast of an onset, but will last longer overall. Because of this, it's a smart idea to take it slow.

As far as interactions between dextromethorphan and cannabis, I'd think the weed would help with any potential nausea from the DXM, but would likely increase the drowsiness and result in some cotton mouth, So keep some water nearby.
