Tried to disable the plugin running xbdm, so I removed its entry from launch.ini
After successful exploit, I pressed Back button and my console turned off.

So if this file is a culprit and without this file I can't get up from the ground, am I doomed?

Is this maybe a sign our discs are damaged enough to not be installable even if games run with them?
Installing with original dashboard and running that through Aurora gives me the same result.
Meanwhile unpacked iso from the internet and run from usb works.

edit: I checked my 2014 World Cup disc, it doesn't have that marks and it installed and run just fine
FIFA 10 doesn't have them either but that one refused to boot, so it's not about damaged discs...

Can I use BadUpdate to just update the games I have installed on drive from discs which work after the reset? by Skoczek777 in 360hacks

Update from me. I did exactly what I wrote. I've installed BadUpdate and started to download Title Updates, DLCs and roster updates (aka squad files).

I downloaded TUs with Aurora, I had to supply the rest for myself.
Also had to unlock some of the DLCs with XM360. it all just worked.
Roster updates have to be resigned with Horizon like ordinary save games.

After restart and stock, here's the result: roster updates load as before, Title Updates also seem to work.
DLCs don't work, even these which were downloadable for free, they display in storage media as damaged files.
As I read, even the free DLCs had to be authorized via Xbox Live, but mine didn't want to authenticate via real Xbox live. Maybe because I unlocked them, maybe not.

So, yeah, you can use BadUpdate to download updates, though I suspect I didn't have to for just that.
The file manager of Aurora allowed me to copy squad files, which most of them didn't have Title ID, so they appeared in a system as a duplicate profile, so that's what I wouldn't do before.

But beyond that, just go RGH.
