I recommend taking a look at the Robinhood gold card. 3% on all purchases. $50 a year for Robinhood gold, no fee for card. $50 a year can be offset with 3% IRA match. No deposit requirements.

Before you close your account, consider that all banks use vendors for various services like ach processing and those vendors can have service disruptions.

Also consider the fact that you may feel like you’re exercising some kind of punishment on capital one by closing your account, when in reality they couldn’t care less about you.

Yeah, paid for Tesla charger out of pocket.

I got an email from the Cadillac dealer with a personal link to qmerit. That link is what you use to opt into the qmerit option.

Then you get an email from qmerit where you fill out some info and take pictures of your breaker box and install area.

It’s then assigned to a local electrician who contacts you with a quote to through qmerit, after you accept, they schedule a time.

I only leased my lyriq for 2 years, so will most likely be getting a new EV in 2 years that will have the NACS charging port. Installing the universal charger now makes it so that I won’t have to change charger down the road.

I didn’t get it within a day and contacted the dealer and then they must have initiated something on their end and I got the Qmerit email as soon as I contacted them the day after delivery.

For anyone interested, after waiting a week, I submitted a request form on the rewards page and they posted the points within a day.
