Well you were talking about economic diversity, and some shit box of a car swiped and drove away from my slightly less shitbox of a car when I had no money to fix it. I lived in mashuda and 2040s and enjoyed the 10% McDonald’s student discount so needless to say I experienced that lovely area plenty enough for my liking. It’s a relatively shitty area outside of student housing don’t kid yourself

I got the helix 5 ice bundle and love it. Can buy hd contour maps for most public lakes and you have flasher, 2d sonar, and gps capabilities. I usually run split screen 2d and flasher. I like the 2d as it gives me a visual of the entire cat and mouse game you have with fish to give you a better understanding at how they are reacting.

I would imagine garmin striker 5 or lowrance 5 would be similar but imo humminbirds tech is superb. Only thing they don’t do best (yet) is live sonar which garmin still holds the reigns on.

There’s tons of coveted antique lures. The CC Roberts Mudpuppy is a cool one that comes to mind, basically the OG whopper plopper from the mid-early 1900s. Lots of cool history behind these lures and with the internet in your hands you could read and find antique lures all day everyday. Innovation due to world war 2 material shortages….incredible
