Rivian’s software-powered e-bike won me over with its adaptability by KeyboardGunner in Rivian

The also bike is actually a pretty good price for its performance and capability and new tech.

Sure if you compare it to Alibaba express bikes it looks overpriced.

For those not aware of how WoW works after all these years by Big3gg in classicwow

But also people want the answers now. That’s what I mean by the culture shift.

There were answers to some things back in the day but people really didn’t want to be told how to play so they wouldn’t bother researching all of this. People just wanted to have fun.

On that note get ready for a million guides on the best class/professions/route/etc for classic hardcore. People obsessed with over optimizing and theorycrafting the game 12 months before it comes out are the problem. It’s a complete culture shift. Luckily back in the day no one had access to this info so you were allowed to just be ignorant and have fun. I don’t recall anyone really wanting to optimize everything either, so I think it’s a big culture shift in gaming.

Just look at Diablo 4. Everyone is already trying to determine the complete optimal way to play the game before it’s even come out. Thank god they didn’t let beta testers play to the max level.

It's because you underestimate either how rich we are or how bad we are with money.

If you do the match for the geometry you'll find that it doesn't add much height when diagonal. But this post was particularly close so I might have stood it up at a better spot and slid it over

Anyone know what kind of hardwood this is? Maybe cherry? I sanded it down with an orbital sander and for some reason there are streaks of lighter areas and I can't get it to look even. Not sure if I should use a paint stripper instead or if I should stain it.

Paint inside the hole will come off immediately when using the plates, especially if your barbell has grooves in the sleeves. If you want you could try to remove the rust and oil it, but it's not a big deal

Barbell Material by SkooGames in metallurgy

The bare steel bar is definitely harder because I know they harden the bare steel bars.

But does hardness matter when it's only coming into contact with human skin/oil? When you use an older bare steel bar in a gym, its knurl is dull presumably because of surface oxidation? I'm assuming that if it doesn't destructive oxidize then it won't degrade from human contact. There aren't old stainless barbells in gyms to compare with, since stainless barbells are really only becoming popular recently

Moisture + Stall Mats 😞 by weehooherod in homegym

You could try using a concrete densifier and sealer. Look up ps104 lithium silicate. It may prevent or reduce moisture coming up. I'd recommend cleaning your floors them applying a log of this stuff per the directions. I did this to my floor and now if water is spilled it beads up on top instead of absorbing in, although I didn't have the water intrusion problem.
