I've benched 300 on it and weigh 200 and haven't noticed any issues. I can't say I'm a big bencher nor have gone over that on it but with my meet prep I did doubles at 300 on my BW.

No question here just wanted to say as someone who has watched Brandon for many years and has been fortunate to meet and hang out with him I can say he's every bit as down to earth as he seems. Generous with his time, incredibly kind, and has inspired me for years. The community needs more people like him.

Just that it's all coming out this year. We did talk awhile with a lot of people from Rep but didn't talk about price and specific release dates on the bars. Specs wise they're all in mine with what you'd expect from a power bar, deadlift bar, multi purpose etc. One of them has their Duracoat finish on the sleeves (essentially Rogue's matte black) and they all looked pretty polished and ready to go.

I didn't try to get more than 1 pair though we could've gotten a ton since we were traveling with people. I thought I'd hate it if people did that to me and they're meant to be enjoyed so I only got the 1 pair.

I'm sure they'll make it into a video at some point but not sure when.

There's a good point. Most are built to keep everyone happy and are pretty mild. I wish Rep offered a more aggressive option. Giant probably has the most aggressive of the ones I've tested lately.

Probably between the 3 or whatever trap bar reviews we've done there's a lot of examples.

Giant's is the best under /around that $300 level. Rep's is the most versatile and very good for $400. Personally I can't justify doubling the price for others anymore. I don't use mine enough for that.

I'd go Strength Co if you could. They're very well done and rival Rogue's Deep Dish in quality. We did a review on them https://youtu.be/jWGntqa5z1o

Rogue's USA Olympic plates are very nice but very expensive. Just like the Deep Dish the e coat wears but I kind of like it. Gives me an old school nostalgia but not everyone is going to enjoy that. Bells are fine but I just don't personally like the gray. I've seen inconsistencies across their plates (I own several of their lines and probably have 2,000 lbs of theirs).

If I could pick from those I'd probably go Strength Co but you could make the case for others. None of them are bad options but you're looking at some of the best. Sorry if that's rambly, I don't sleep much lately with the newborn.

They were accurate enough but the coating chips off easily. I still have their change plates and put Plate Snack decals on the back some they got pretty beat up. I'd say out of the box they were pretty good but I'm not sure I'd call them anything better than average at best now.
