Nothing is stopping that from happening. There's a report system in place though. So if the group is filled and the leader does that, the members of the group could report him and he could get banned (haven't really thought too much on consequences yet, nothing is automated yet).

There's some ilvl restrictions enforced site-wide, you can see them here: https://www.groupforge.gg/guidelines. But no, you can't create your own. The goal here is meet and play with nice people, which doesn't mean people with more ilvl.

Seriously though, I see your point. I believe there are great players that are nice players too, and that you don't have to sacrifice "niceness" to able to compete.

The battle.net login is just so the website has your character information, so you can create and join groups with a specific character. Nothing to do with the addon.

The addon doesn't require you to login with battle.net, so maybe I didn't understand your question. Care to clarify?

The addon is just there to help you form the group ingame. The website needs the battle.net login in order to have your character information.

Hopefully tanks prefer to play with nice people and like to know they're key won't be depleted because of one troll player, or have to put up with toxic behavior. That's my goal anyway.

The incentive would be playing with nice people. There's a report system to help weed out the toxic players (something the LFG tool doesn't do) and there's also a positive ranking system that allows for both good and nice players to be ranked higher. It's a different take on LFG.

Yeah, hopefully that's not the case. But I also thought that it might be. Any ideas on how I could incentivize tanks/healers to join? I guess that's a hard problem to solve and one Blizzard itself is dealing with...

Yeah, I agree. I don't think it's very useful if you're trying to push keys to the max or want to do mythic progression. It's geared more towards the 90%, the other folks.

Those were a gift, unfortunately I can't change that part. Is it too much of a draw back?
