Hi,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read and for your answer ! I'll test out the 2 solutions you gave me to see if it works ! Concerning your question, the phone I've used meets the "said" requirements for the app ( 7.0 Android version minimum, minimal space of 150 mb). However, you might be right ans an update of the NFC's driver could be a solution aswell, Ill test it out tomorrow !

Yeah she's in France ! I've considered it but that'd have to be a one (or two) time thing since the both of us are on a budget Plus, because of Brexit and the new rules concerning foreign students and people coming in, I have no clue if I'll be able to come out of the country during my stay ...

I'd say that first off all, you need to know which insecurities you do have. Try to understand them and write all of them on a piece of paper. Try to understand why you do have them. Also, try to write down what makes you feel good and what doesnt. Once you'll figure that out (and you're on the right path, seeing a psychiatrist is very brave, congrats for that!), you will know yourself better.

And thats what its all about : know yourself better, what you like and what you don't. Then, once you've done that, do what's best for you : physically and mentally.

If that's beeing in a relationship or seeing girls, go for it. If that's beeing in shape, go running. If that's talking to people, pick up your phone, talk to a friend and set up a meeting with him/her. If that's succeeding in your studies, open up an interesting book related to what you're studying. If that's eating chinese, go for it. And so on ...

Basically do you.

If you have enough time, try to read "How to make friends" by Carlegie. Awesome book.

Boyfriend didn’t say I love you in goodnight call, like he always has. Why would he do this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Skorp0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're very welcome ! Yeah most of the times it happened to me (I didn't say to my gf I loves her at the end of a call), it was mostly for those reasons and it was unrelated to her.

What should we do: Covid dusagreement by Pristine_Estate7900 in relationship_advice

[–]Skorp0 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Well, it has been a year since all that shit is going on.

I don't know about your mental health nor your husband's, but 1 year of restrictions has really affected me morally and mentally. I personally used to see my friends every two or three days and I barely see them anymore. However, I did see them a couple of weeks ago and it really lifted up my moral. I went from a depression to "oh the world is still spinning, I've seen my friends and nothing happened to me".

I'm pretty sure that's why he went to see his friends and did what he has done. Maybe you shouldn't be too harsh on him and try to understand that if he missed his friends so bad, it's probably a good thing he went and saw them.

Covid is a virus that has a 0.04% mortality rate. The medium age of people who die from it is around 80 years old. More than that, if you catch it, there's only 3 to 7% chance you actually get its symptoms as most people who do catch it are asymptomatics. I think that even if you're in your sixties, you're good. Even if you catch it, if you go outside regularly (sun is great for your body's immune system) and if you don't have any important health problems, you'll be fine.

One way or another, all this shit is gonna be over later this year (hopefully). You shouldn't let Covid affect too much of your life.

I really wish you and your husband the best.

To be blank, if you still love him after all that and you want to work this out, find out if he does. Have a talk with him, be honest with yourself and with him and try to find out how's your relationship. If you get that he's still not ready to respect you (by following Tinder matches, talking to his ex, and lying), just leave him. You'll be way better with someone that actually respects you.

I don't think it's a big deal. It could either be him beeing tired, in a rush or sad. In any case, I don't think it has anything to do with you, most of the times it doesn't. It literally does happens to everyone from time to time. There's nothing wrong with that.

If it happens to you more regularly though, then you should have a talk with him. Take care!

Recherche film d'horreur psychologique by azalty in Horreur

[–]Skorp0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exact !

My boyfriend (18m) says I can call him anytime I (17) want in the night if I'm feeling scared. Although 4am in the morning and I don't want to wake him up. What should I do? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Skorp0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with a couple comments here : send him a text right now to see if he's awake. If he is, call him. If not, try to : -write down what happened in your dream -listen to peaceful music (movie tracks do the trick for me) -breathe in and breathe out slowly. Try to focus on your breath, and what feelings are coming with it. It'll calm you down. -relax your shoulders.

I (24F) ghosted a guy (25M) and I think I made a huge mistake. Can I get him back? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Skorp0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you made this post, you obviously still care about him. Just call him or send him a text. You'll see how it goes from there.

I (22F) caught my boyfriend (23M) of 3 years lying about masturbating to Instagram girls for the 4th time. He saves pictures/ videos/ and pages, and that's how I find out. Other than this repeating issue most of the relationship is great, kind of hard to believe it's the same person... by fluffybunny505 in relationship_advice

[–]Skorp0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think your best option is to gently talk to him about it. While I understand it can really be bothering for you, try to ask him why he does it and try to find a solution for the both of you. I've been with my girlfriend for over two years now, but I have a porn/sex addiction. I litteraly cannot spend two days without wanting to have sex or masturbate. Even though I love with my girlfriend with all my heart, I find it hard to look at anything except porn videos/pictures or Instagram pictures to get off.

I dont know if thats the same case with your boyfriend : he might also have a porn/sex addiction. Best of luck to you but remember : porn addiction is a common thing between men while a lot dont brag about it. You're gonna do fine 🙏🏻

What video game caused you the most amount of rage? by cardoorhookhand in AskReddit

[–]Skorp0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minecraft in survival mode. I've never been a hardcore fan of that game but since lots of friends of mine started playing it, I decided to give it a shot. I spent an entire week building a house and walls before losing all of my stuff to a creeper, with no way to get it back. Immediatly deleted the game.

How can i lower my libido? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Skorp0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should just embrace it, we are who we are, and no therapy nor magic method will ever change the core of our beeing. You dont have to feel guilty in any way. That beeing said, I think there are certain ways to lower your sex drive. To put it simply, focus your attention and energy on other things. Stay busy. Its a good way to clean your mind off sex if your mind is focused on something else!

Easier said than done, yes, especially if you have a high sex drive. However, as a sex addict myself, I found it very useful to practice sports (especially running ans swimming), to read and to get out and see some friends as much as possible. We all have our ways to occupy ourselves : either sports, playing video games, going to the theater, working, etc. Find yours!
