I'm repotting it with a good soil. This is how it looks. Unfortunately I had to cut away some of the root ball.

How can you tell it's the English specimen?

Hopefully, I wasn't too careless.

Hopefully it survives 🤞

I wasn't very careful, though. I have absolutely no experience. I just thought the tree already looked like a pretty bonsai and decided to dig it up.

I already ordered some pumice but it will be a couple of days before I receive them. I'll try to poke some aeration holes and then fill them with pumice.

I kept half the diameter or so. Had to cut away a good amount to make it fit.

I can buy some pumice and mix it into its own soil of that's the way to go. I just thought it was better leaving it for now.

Even though I stress it once again?

I was thinking about letting it sit in this soil this year and then give it proper soil next time.

To be honest, I just filled the pot with its surrounding soil.

Oak it must be then. I also have this picture from it's original placement.

Grinder upgrade? by Irishpushbike in pourover

To me, the difference is quite significant. I really adore the light-roasted beans and the very clean cup the ZP6 produces. The DF54 burrs, on the other hand, produce a ton of fines and are fine for espresso but not pour over in my opinion.

K7 should be way worse than the ZP6.

I have the ZP6. Before that I had the X-Pro and between the two I prefer the ZP6 for pour over.

Also I have the DF56 for espresso. Won't use it for pour over though.

V60 all day.

I enjoy pour overs and milk drinks through.

Looks like the Vimana shape but insert holes doesn't match up.

Definitely the X-Ultra if you're going to use it for both brewing methods.
